I was wondering if he would do this, its becoming the trendy thing for players to do. Especially considering the Green Bay Press Gazette has to be pretty cheap to take an add out in compared to some of the bigger city newspapers.

Overall, I'm going to miss the guys. Lots of fond memories. But he'll have infinite more success in his traditional 4-3 spot than he ever would have had in our 3-4. So Kampy, best of luck to you buddy.

Kampman is the first Pro-Bowl caliber player i can ever say i've been glad to see leave the team, not only because i feel he was a poor fit in the system and that the OLB position needs some young, devlopeing players. More than that, i've really enjoyed watching him play over the years, and it was sort of painful to see him play out of position. He sucked it up and didn't complain, played his part as honorable as you could possibly expect, and i truely wish him success in jacksonville. He has been one of my favorite players since he started playing for the packers, and he will continue to be no matter where he goes.

I lived in Cedar Falls iowa in 2008(20 minutes or from parkersburg) and when the tornado hit, a friend of mine told me he saw Kampman up there personally helping people clean their homes and their lives up. Literally handing out cash to those affected in his former community on the spot. In these days of thugish ignorant millionares in the NFL, Kampman is a class act. I'm not really about the god stuff myself, but you cannot help but respect the man and his faith.
