though I will say it was nice leading a tourney pool for the first time in my life, even if the lead will have a half life of about 5 minutes.

Kansas Just Busted My Pool.

Kansas... Play like Dorthy and you are going to be run off the yellow brick road, and on your way back to Kansas.

I can kiss my $100 entry fee good-bye. I was in second place three hours ago. Now I have no chance unless all number one seeds are gone.

Crazy stuff..... But an entertaining tourney non the less.

That's what we get for playing it "safe". You should always predict someone else than the #1 ranked team to win.

I seriously don't know who to root for anymore. Baylor, Kentucky, Syracuse, Ohio State and The Pitt are ruled out because they are someone's champion. That leaves me with Butler, Mich State and West Virginia as the only possible teams who could have a chance.

And I told you guys that Washington would win a couple of upsets, so whoever picked New Mex to win should listen to me next time lol.

Yesterday my MOTHER called me to tell me that she is winning in her pool! Apparently my brother convinced her to sign up for his office online pool and even though she does not know who any of the teams are she is winning. My 10 year old niece is 2nd.

I thought Kansas was the best overall team going into the tourney... hence why I picked them.

For as much bemoaning the talking heads did over this years seedings and backets.. it has turned out to be a very well done job.. almost all the games were competitive and upsets abound.

Even though my bracket is all fucked up, there's one good thing. At least the guys who didn't pick any upsets get killed this year.
