I like this deal, without having the numbers right now. I was all for trading him, but I'm not too bummed that we'll keep him. With a bit of luck, he'll keep going strong till, at least, the end of this contract.

There was a reason we had the #1 rush D in the NFL last season.

Big part of that reason was run-stuffing Ryan.

It's tough to find quality nose tackles and the Packers have two locked up for along time. I think it's a smart move especially paying these guys the big money in the uncapped year. I look at it three years 18 million after this year. That's about a six million dollars a year base salary and we're not talking roster and workout bonuses. Sounds like the deal is structured wisely.

We've just got to sign Jolly and Cullen Jenkins before he becomes a free agent next year and we'll be in good shape on the DL.

If Harrell gets fit and Wynn or another draft pick steps up that could become a dominant DL.
