And now for a pair of awesome voices I can't get enough of: E Nomine, a German project. They combine an incredible combination of German and Classical Latin Christian-liturgical lyrics, as well as lyrics from other religious traditions (mainly Celtic- and Teutonic-pagan), into a symphonic-trance-metal combination. Absolutely hypnotic.

In the first video, an interlude from their album Das Testament, Chris Weller recites the creation story (Genesis 1:1-4) in Luther's German translation. In the second video, he recites the Ave Maria ("Hail, Mary, full of grace"). The third video is a rendition of the Vater Unser ("Our Father" or Lord's Prayer) in Latin and German. The fourth video is E Nomine's take on Handel's Hallelujah Chorus. The other videos are E Nomine songs.
