I like what I see from the highlight videos of him. He looks like a good athlete and he's aggressive. Tackling form can be coached up. I think he's got a good shot at being a competent backup/role player. As someone pointed out, highlight films can be deceiving so it'd be nice to see video of him making mistakes too.

Isn't 232 pounds kind of smallish for a 3-4 LB? I wonder if they will ask him to bulk up a little. Seems like a longshot to contribute, but you could say that about most seventh round picks.

Kampman can't be traded. He wasn't tendered.

We could have gotten value for Kampman.. but that was last season before the deadline. Now we sit with nothing... hmmmmm....
