I would love dunta, but I think we got to pay collins first. I think williams gets abit overrated, I see williams as a great nickel average starter so Im all for paying for dunta and drafting a good LT or SS.

Remember the contract SF gave to Nate Clements? Robinson should come close. He's a No. 1 quality CB IMO. There aren't 32 better corners.

I see your point, but CB was a huge need at that time. The teams roster was totally different. GB doesn't need to do anything in my view this off-season. Draft well and develop your guys and I could see them taking the next step on that philosophy.

Honestly, I'd rather keep Collins and Williams and work on developing a pass rush. Priorities. Williams seriously is good enough of a #2 CB that if we had a pass rush, he'd be fine.

Ironically today on NFLN they had a show on about 2004 rookies..

and Dunta was in it...During that rookie season they followed him along the season..

and the coaches thru out the season said he got better and better and better..then hit rookie wall...but then when past it and got even better

at one point in a game late in the season he goofed up bad...he came off field and coach is just screaming at him..Dunta looked at him and said coach I got your back and I will make it up..Next play he intercepted the pass and sealed the win

He can blitz and sack pretty well..Showed game vs Indy where he got to Manning TWICE and both times made Manning fumble

but then this year ( I looked it up) when he got tagged he put on his shoes PAY ME RICK

Thats all I know about him

#1 Priority is to keep Collins, he came into his own this year and Robinson is overrated IMO, I also think blackmon and williams are both overrated, we lack secondary depth all around, Collins and Woodson are the only sure spots, Bigby hasnt been the same since 07, and as much as I love Harris father time has caught up with him unfortunately.

Tramon is over rated? He's considered a slightly above average corner. That's very accurate.
Blackmon is over rated? He's considered injury prone, fragile and lacks most of the skills needed to be a successful corner. That's accurate as well.

You confusing the Madden rankings with reality here? 🙂 hah

I find it amusing how often on this board players on other teams are downgraded as "overrated" while players on the Packers are drastically overhyped (see Jennings, Greg). I suppose it's only natural. Whether or not I agree with his assessment, I find it quite refreshing to see someone like MattG04 have the courage to describe Packers players as overrated.

We know very little about what will take place in free agency this year, but of one thing I'm absolutely certain: Soon-to-be-ex-Houston cornerback Dunta Robinson is going to get over-paid. Bank on it. He is.

Robinson's a decent corner, but far from a dominant one. But in this market, he'll look like the second coming of Deion Sanders in his prime. With a contract to match.

The question isn't if a free agent gets overpaid as an individual, practically all of them are. That's the nature of the beast. The question is whether the free agent is overpaid based on what he can do for the team.

Again, look at Woodson or Jared Allan.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?
