This is all worth monitoring, imo.
The reason I find it somewhat fascinating is that I strongly suspect that
Mayhew and Schwartz are really quite competent, even though it hasn't really translated into wins--yet.
Mayhew might be doing "too good" in the draft pick department-It is possible I reckon,what with all the low picks they have received, and not just through incompetence on the field, either.
Mayhew's first move as acting General Manager was the trade of wide receiver Roy Williams and a 7th round draft choice to the Dallas Cowboys for Dallas' 1st, 3rd and 6th round draft choices in the 2009 NFL draft.
Schwartz scares me as an opposing coach, btw- I think he knows what the hell he is doing. All this wise FO shit in Detroit is starting to make me a little nervous. :thumbleft:
