So people were wondering where are tight ends are. Well the tight ends had a combined total of 8 catches for 92 yards with 1 td. Not only did they put up improving numbers but many of them came during key plays/drives. And not too mention how about Ruvell Martin. He is someone we need, he had some nice catches, some for key first downs.

I pretty much expected the Packers to lose this game, so I watched it in the way I would watch if they were a team that was building for the future. Tory Humphrey had a great catch and run down the seam on that last drive. That's what we've been hoping to see from him all along. Donald Lee was just catching the short stuff, but he did have a TD on that shovel pass, which, by the way, was a gutsy call by Mike McCarthy.

Donald Driver finally had a decent game, and Jennings made a couple of big plays as usual. Ryan Grant showed a little bit of life in the second half.

Nick Collins made some nice plays. Tramon Williams had a great one-handed interception. He really has filled in well for Al Harris. Patrick Lee is getting serious playing time now, and although he's still raw, he is in there battling and gaining experience in one-on-one coverage. He looks fast and strong, and he appears to have good ball skills.

One good thing, is that Greg Jennings is leading the leauge in yards by 115 yards and he has an ungodly 19.4 YPC Average.

Other positives....

Ryan Grant ran hard for the first time all season

AR was obviously hurting and still played a solid game

Colledge and Barbre played better than Clifton and College

AJ played

Negatives....

Way too many stupid plays (penalties and screwups)

No matter what you say or think, Grant looked a ton better. No big runs, but he had a solid game.

I'm excited to see what Grant does next week. After watching the game again... boy he looked like his old self for the first time (in my view).

I'm glad atleast you(and hopefully others) agree. We have Seattle and Indy. I hope to see a 100 yard performance against one of these two teams. Seattle is struggling, and Indy is a little soft IMO on D without Bob.

i totally agree on the ryan grant thing. He looked like him old self running hard and just staying on his feet.

My positive is that we are in the NFC North. Even with losing three straight, we are only one game back.

Aaron Rodgers = Greatness
Greg Jennings = Greatness
Nick Collins = On the Path to Greatness ( and all you people wanted Aaron Rouse 🙂 )

Another positive was we actually won the time of possesion for once.

A day after a rather humiliating loss, I think it important to highlight some positives from an otherwise lackluster defensive performance.

Tramon Williams: This kid keeps showing up, displaying the athleticism and growing awarness that gives me a little comfort that we have a replacement for the inevitable loss of Al or Chuck.

Nick Collins: Continues to show his toughness and willingness in run support, the great speed and range, and now showing the hands that should make him a mainstay in our secondary in coming years. That personal foul for tripping over a fallen player was complete bullshit.

Pat Lee: Yes, it is early, and very limited exposure, but the size, speed and athleticism are all there. Savor your time with Al and Chuck...much like Rodgers with that other guy....hone your craft and be ready to hit the grass running when your turn comes.

Some positives.......... Can't think of any, we are 2-3 and look worse each week.
God didn't create Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Rodgers created God.

And, Rodgers manned up and played a hell of a game. Both lines, however, should be scrutijized heavily in the coming weeks.

good points just nerve racking that 3 points we lost could have made it a tie game the penalties are hurting badly but i do like how the corners and safeties are showing up i still feel we are so close and think the pack can do it a-rod showed he still has it i did like his shovel pass for the t.d

I saw some positive play from our TE's yesterday. They looked sure handed and ran well after the catch. {Humppy} Also the anouncers kept it to 10 brett comments yesterday. That was a huge positive step from the 100 we were getting.

Rodgers.. thumbs up... kid has stepped in just fine.

Colledge looked better at tackle minus the one complete air mail block on the grounding play. I really wish they would just let him learn the Tackle position and stay there.. he plays to upright to play guard.

Tramon Williams - agreed.. kid is playing just fine.. not perfect but he is improving.

Tory Humphrey.. kid is finally showing a reason to keep him on the roster for a couple of years through injury.. some returns anyway.

I didn't get to see much of the game.. but it was nice to hear Driver had a solid game.. heard that lick he took from Milloy was a brutal one.
