Maybe instead of designating a specific date and time for the draft, we can run a rolling draft. Specify a deadline for registering, and then the draft starts immediately thereafter. Each participant gets a specific amount of time to make their next selection (say, one hour from the time stamp of the previous pick), at which point they forfeit their pick and the draft continues. Yes, this means the draft would take a few days, but so be it. Perhaps we could specify that each round last no more than 24 or 48 hours, meaning that a three-round draft would take no more than a week. Doing it this way would also give participants incentive to trade up or back into time slots more favorable for them.
