I'm falling in love with Brandon Graham. Even more than I already was.

Short arms. Whoopteedoo. He can play.

He should've been, earlier on. He was slated as a 2nd rounder before the draft, from what I've seen. He would've been a steal.

I'm hoping that he played his stock up to our pick. I think he did. Now we have to hope that he doesn't tear it up at the combine and shoots into the top 20 picks.

Hughes wouldn't be too bad, either, though.

Mays might not be too smart, but really, how many safeties are these days? We should've gone for Leonhard last year. Rex Ryan knew what he was worth, he threw some money at him. No one was willing to pay anything for him. He's not too visible in his play, but he's always on the right spot. He's football smart and regular smart. A great combination for that position.

I'm naming Myron Rolle "All Wade"

His sideline and pre-game interviews were the most

impressive.

ever.

He is a safety, Rock.

Haven't seen any of his interviews. I'll take your word for it, though.

And his Rhodes scholarship. An Oxford guy wouldn't hurt our defense, at all.

Next to that, like you know, he was projected as a pretty high pick last year. He went to Oxford. Now he's a 4-7th (?) round guy.

Mayock on Rolle:

4:01 4th qtr (see, told ya I took notes, lol)

"I had always felt that he was a bit tight in the hips, but this week he has proven that he is much more fluid than I had previously thought. He's 6' 1 1/2"

Don't worry, I got the Mays notes, Witherspoon notes, Graham notes...I got notes comin' out the ying yang , lol

I'm presuming you meant "All Mike Reid"?

It wasn't that pretty.

But most of the top flight OTs wheren't at the Senior Bowl. Non of the top 5 tackles where there.

Foster's guy, Vladimir Ducasse, looked vey inconsistent, although pretty good at times.

The South had no pass rush, but I don't know if that was thanks to the O-line or thanks to the bad D-line.

And Iutapi didn't look as godly as expected.

I noticed one thing bad about Lupati, and that was because of Mike Mayock. He holds way too often. Like Mayock said, he needs to learn to punch instead of grab at the shoulder pads. He was called for holding a couple times and other times he got away with it.

...And pre-game Mayock said this: "He is possibly the best offensive lineman, period."

At 7:28 left in the 1st period, Lapati negated a touchdown with a blatant hold and was caught. Comments were a bit alarming- "The thing about Lupati is that he's a "holder-grabber". I have watched film on him and it amazed me how many times he got away with that. You cannot do that, he does it all the time."

It's important to note that he was playing Right Tackle at that point (he was subsequently moved to left tackle, and played much better to the point he went invisible to the commentators.)

What was bothersome about him, and for that matter many of the offensive linemen in this game on BOTH sides (North and South) was that they were playing with modified rules. No stunts. No blitzes. 4 man rush only, yet the storyline of that game has to be the defensive front of the north dominating the flow...I don't know how anyone could fairly evaluate a Tebow, for example, as crappy as he looked in comparison to a couple of the others, he was constantly running for his life, or having a DE or LB or other D man in his face the whole time.

One thing anyone watching this game has to ask...Many pundits have Tebow about 3rd or so in their QB rankings. Many of the same folk have Dan LeFevour out of Michigan at around 13th or so. I'd take LeFevour in the 5th round contrasted with a Tebow in the 1st, and for me that one isn't even close.

Ciron Black deserves a big-league shout out for rollin' out in front 3:59 1st quarter on a nice end-around. It didn't look like anyone had much interest tangling with him as he flew down the sideline with the running back. He did kind of dot out the sun along the sideline, so the RB had to run in the dark, lol.

The reason I dubbed Rolle as an "All-Wade Team" player is because of your legendary hatred for all things side-line reported. That kid could change your perspective. I don't know what kind of a safety he will make, but personally just knowing he was in my backfield would let me rest slightly more comfortably in the "these guys are athletically gifted but possibly the dumbest motherf$ckers on the planet" theory I find myself going with far too often regarding our safeties...and more than one cornerback, sad to say.

Taylor Mays is a bit of an idiot. This is the guy we will draft. Call me a cynic.

Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?

dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife

Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
