I'm a PC so I really don't care. I have an iPod but because I got one for Christmas. I didn't really even take a look at the iPad, mainly because I probably won't be able to afford one. I also have a phone that has the ability to call people and send text messages which are really the only reasons I find a use for having a phone. I'm 21 and have grown up in the age of technology but I really think an iPhone is too expensive for a lot of wasted space and luxuries. Maybe that makes me old school? I don't know.
In fact, I don't even have cable TV, just the internet. I can find anything I need on the internet and TV just wastes time and money even though I do enjoy it.
As far as AT&T goes it's just another "lesser of two evils" argument for me. I have US Cellular service only because I'm on a cheap family plan and because they have service in Sanibel Island, FL in addition to Wisconsin (my mom has a condo there).
My biggest problem is this whole "apps" deal. It's basically the same as installing programs on a computer but it's "easier" for people that don't know much about computers and programming. That's why I enjoy a PC. I know exactly what I'm doing and because of that I can get a lot more done and cater it to my own needs instead of satisfying the layman.
