My biggest problem is this whole "apps" deal. It's basically the same as installing programs on a computer but it's "easier" for people that don't know much about computers and programming.

As for the iPad, it has built in wireless. As in 802.11n/g/b. So if you have wireless at home, it will work with it.

Alternatively, you can buy a refurbished laptop for 350 bucks or a new one for 500 that will perform better and won't have your greasy fingerprints all over the screen.

But it's not an Apple! ZOMG

Yea I'm a big guy so one of my ideas is to buy a netbook because it'd probably be able to fit in one of my pockets. That would be awesome.
