Best ever. Just unbelievable how good.

Every time I watch something like this, I just shake my head (again, for probably the bazillionth time) and simply say, God DAMN!

I'll bet you that he made almost every fan of every team he ever played against scream at their TV. (Scream at their defense, that is)

You suck! Why can't you friggin' tackle!!?? Thing is, we'd always leave out the most important part...They could tackle, they just couldn't tackle HIM.

I'll also bet there are retired LB's still wondering where the hell he went on some of his plays.

Walter Payton

Even from the nosebleed seats, you could pick him out. Everyone else on both teams seemed to be in slow motion in comparison.

Gayle Sayers

His name doesn't come up as often as it should. I'm not going to argue with anyone that wants to put him ahead of Walter.

Jim Brown

What an unstoppable force. You can put him anywhere from 2nd to here without me flipping out about it.

Emmitt Smith

Because he earned it. This is begrudging on my part, but true.

Peterson is no where close to even being in the top 10 best all time running backs in the NFL history. And I like Peterson, a lot, except his uniform colors are foul.

Barry Sanders was the greatest RUNNER of all time, not running back, but pure runner. No one can duplicate the moves he had or his vision. I will argue anyone, anytime any day of the week on this issue. I will win.

Walter Payton and Earl Campbell and Jim Brown were punishing running backs with Payton and Campbell having moves to make people miss as well. Gale Sayers was very smooth and to me looked like silk gliding on grass between defenders.

I think the best all around, running back of all time was Walter Payton. He could run people over, he could make them miss, he could receive out of the backfield, he could blitz pick up and in my opinion was the complete package at RB.

I think Bo Jackson was another great running back.

Christian Okoye was one of the most punishing running backs I remember seeing.

Many have forgotten the man who donned the '20' prior to Barry, Bill Sims. I think he was a great talent as well, but injuries shortened his career.

He's no Barry Sanders, but from time to time, you had to wonder if his legs where attached to his body normally. Just look at 0:45. He's swinging around like a rag doll.

If you ask me, Jerome Bettis could make a good push to get on that list, as well. He might not've had the great YPC numbers, always, but that has a lot to do with not having break out speed, more so than being a bad RB. If there's anyone who I would want to have running it up the middle, it'd be him. Or maybe Alstott.
