That was tame. I thought for a second that he was going to run through that wall, though. Looked like he had the build to do as such. lol

Sorry my purple friends.. but yes that was a dose of pure joy.. the single play. If it is any comfort, we can relate to the pain two years removed.

I have no problem with your post, except for this last comment..

Honestly, that's an insult to us Viking backers. Trying to relate to the pain we've been through?! Impossible! So don't try.

4 Super Bowls.

5 NFC Championship games.

Countless playoff games.

Each and every one of them ended in getting our hopes up, only to have the rug being pulled out from underneath us.

Take the pain you guys felt 2 years ago, and multiply it by at least 9. Then you can relate.

=)

I'm sure you will take this wrong, but I'll say it anyhow. I do admire the Vikings fan's who've lived through and witnessed those tough times and still root die hard style for their team. Much like Packers fans who lived through the 70's and 80's and still root for the Packers with Green and Gold through their veins.

This is what is so awesome about having Vikesrule here. He is almost like Formo's "big brother", to me.

He knows that I know every single trial and tribulation that he as a Viking fan has endured since the day his franchise was born. He knows intimately about my trials and tribulations during the drought. He knows Vince Lombardi. I know Bud Grant. He knows Bart Starr. I know Fran Tarkenton.

This rivalry runs so magnificently deep. Sometimes it pays to be a geezer.

What is it? About 50 years now?

I'm not talkin' no "Minneapolis Marines"...hell, we could even fight about that. :pottytrain2:

Mucky Tundra (8-May) : According to reports, Mel Kiper is furious that Sanders wasn't selected as the new Pope

Zero2Cool (8-May) : Collin Whitchurch @cowhitchurch · 1h Chicago got a pope before it got a QB to throw for 4,000 yards in a season.

Martha Careful (5-May) : Yes, in the military S2’s work on IPB, PERCEC, PHYSEC and IO
dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Packers did not activate the fifth-year options for linebacker Quay Walker, with the goal of signing him to a contract extension.
