....For what it's worth, I'd rather the Vikings represent then NFC North than the Bears.

Good luck (I hope you lose).

You know Z2C, reading your posts has tendency to evoke mixed emotions.

Kind of like watching your mother-in-law drive off a cliff in your new car.

Hint - I don't take to hints very well. :wickedfart:

You two are pathetic little bitches. Who gives a shit if your team has choked more in the big house than Monica Lewinski. That was then, this now.

lol We give a shit. Because we lived the let downs (well, I'm reminded of them constantly by my dad and uncle who has actually lived through them). It has nothing to do with what era and whatnot.. It has everything to do with hearts being broken and it's always risky to have it exposed.

I'm really curious to see if Favre can pull this off. 4th and 26, and the 2007 NFC championship game are too clear in memory to think he succeeds, but the Vikings belong in this game. You should be thinking positive for good karma.

I'm just taking it one game at a time.. I'm sporting a goat on my face now, and if the Vikes do win, I'll be shaving my chin to sport the horseshoe mustache  (unfortunately it won't be blond like that pic.. )

Just don't start using Grecian Formula on it like Chilly is doing! God that guy's a jackass.

What?! Grecian Formula?

BTW, anyone else notice the beard Chilly's sporting this year? Think it has something to do with the success the team's having? Better than the MOLEST-ache.

There is a real dilemma here. While it would be nice to be able to root for the Vikes for the sake of guys like the gnome, Jeremy, Uffda, Zeus, Prophet, Marr, Singer and some more... I have to weigh that against the pleasure in watching the really truly obnoxious Vikes fans being forced to finally shut their big yaps when the Vikes lose... plus I would want at least a dash of guilt acknowledged out of a Nick (for example :pottytrain2: )for the methodology his team used to get there...He HAS to know what I mean by that... :thumbleft:

This is a toughie....

That dome is gonna be loud.

Brees against that secondary, man, I don't know.

I'll bite this bullet for you Dfostr - think all time greatest Mardi Gras, and Brett putting the Vikings through - I'm retired, wait, I have an itch, is training camp over yet?

If they go ahead and win it all this year, he gets his Elway sunset moment.

I have come to a decision on this most weighty matter.

I took into account how good it would make those Vikes fans that I do happen to like feel if the Vikes win today...

Fuck 'em.

UserPostedImage

I ain't doing "the classy thing" either. :tongue3:

I want to be able to gloat, to laugh, to tell 'em to kiss my ass, etc.

The only thing that is more irritating than a Vikings fan and his gloating is a Packers fan sitting on his hands when they do it....and the only thing WORSE THAN THAT is a Packer fan that didn't have the courage to go tell his Viking fan friends to kma, etc. until AFTER the Vikes lost, with THEIR (suddenly newfound) voice.

So, to all my Viking fan friends, (and enemies)

Below me!

You are getting your asses kicked today motherf#ckers!

The significance of Will Smith in my photo=

He was pardoned by the commish when the Vikings cheated in court.

I hope he gets 20 sacks today. (Charles Grant was the other Saint, he recently went on IR)

Me....i'll probably watch the game. But it holds no "excitement" for me. Whichever team wins won't affect me.
But i do understand how you are feeling Formo!

buckeyepackfan (now) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (1m) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.
buckeyepackfan (7m) : Turnovers rule, win the turnover battle, win the game.
packerfanoutwest (8m) : well, he was
TheKanataThrilla (12m) : Eagles down by contact on the fumble....fuck you NFL
Mucky Tundra (34m) : I think this games over
beast (1h) : Eagles sure get a lot of fumbles on kickoffs
Mucky Tundra (1h) : This game looks too big for Washington
packerfanoutwest (4h) : that being said, The Ravens are the Browns
packerfanoutwest (4h) : Browns, Dolphins have longest AFC Championship droughts
packerfanoutwest (4h) : As of today, Cowboys have longest NFC Championship drought,
beast (15h) : Someone pointed out, with Raiders hiring Carroll, the division games between Carroll and Jim Harbaugh are back on (who can whine more games)
beast (20h) : I'm confused, Pete Carroll and Brian Schottenheimer? When Todd Monken, Joe Brady, Kellen Moore, Kliff Kingsbury and Zac Robinson are availab
Zero2Cool (23h) : Any reason I'm catching a shot here about my intelligence?
Martha Careful (25-Jan) : thank you Mucky for sticking up for me
Martha Careful (25-Jan) : some of those people are smarter than you zero. However Pete Carroll is not
Mucky Tundra (24-Jan) : Rude!
beast (24-Jan) : Martha? 😋
Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
