Super Bowl or bust. The foundation is in place and it's time for this team to take the next step.

Look at all four teams playing next week. Not one of them won a playoff game. Only two were actually in the playoffs.

Could backfire. For one, several players I want locked up long-term, like Collins, Pickett, etc.

For another, with player inflation, sometimes you save money in the long run signing a player long-term. Remember Sterling Sharpe was the highest paid WR in the NFL at a whopping $1 million a year? That was in the late 80s, early 90s. Look at what they're making now.

I don't think its foolish to expect to make the playoffs next season, but I think claiming a superbowl is reaching a bit (although with some tweaks it seems very possible.)
I saw some amazing changes this season, and I see pleanty of future success to come. If we have a healthy secondary and the OL keeps Rodgers protected, great things can happen.
As far as the division goes, The Vikes are without a doubt the biggest obstacle we have to face. The Bears have some potential if Cutler makes good decisions.
What I am seeing is probably a split with the Vikes, kill the Bears and Detroit. Overall a 12-4 season and probably NFC championship round. Beyond that is questionable.

This is the point where I believe Ted might branch out a little in Free Agency and spend maybe 15-20 more than he values a certain player to help put us over the top.

I think the packers could win the championship IF:

1. Dom Capers turns his defense into a clutch defense, a defense that comes up big when needed.

2. The packers get some upgrades for their secondary (Charles Woodson and Al Harris are getting old).

3. The offensive line needs some work to, plus the uncertainy of Chad Clifton and Mark Taucher.

Overall I think the packers can pull it off. Arod will be flaming hot next year with his playoff experience this year. He has great wide reciever corps and Jermicheal Finley who is an amazing tight end. A great defense with some deflicts and the return of Aaron Kampman and Al Harris will be good as well.

Free Agent class is weak this year. The best LT is Chad Clifton. The best RT is probably Mark Tauscher.

I think the only players worth looking at are Ryan Clark and Tyrone Carter. Pittsburgh won't keep both and they both could start at SS. Clark would have to convert, but he could do it IMO.

Beyond that, it'd take a trade for Thompson to do something.

wow some very lofty expectations going on. I really don't know what to think seeing we do play the 2 toughest divisions next year in the AFC East and NFC East, we dont get the strong teams like the browns, Rams Seahawks and Bucs. I'll just start off right now at a 9-7 season, if we don't make changes on d we could be in trouble. The likes of Brady, and Mcnaab and even Eli and Romo will torch us, our weakness is shown.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

What would I like? Super Bowl Win.

What does my heart tell me now? We should be a top 10 team next season.

What does my mind tell me now? The Super Bowl hasn't even been played this year. We have free agency, a draft, OTA's, training camp and pre-season before the regular season starts. It's too damn early to make predictions. I know someone will kill me for this but what if Rodgers tears an ACL in the Pro Bowl? What if Al Harris doesn't come back? What if Charles Woodson dies in a plane crash? It's too early for predictions.

If the Packers draft well they have the chance to go into the season as a favorite. Keeping Collins will be key as well.
