A roundup of what's happening on the Green Bay Packers beat.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- When the Packers placed rookie Johnathan Franklin on injured reserve last Wednesday because of a neck injury, they replaced him on the roster with practice-squad linebacker Victor Aiyewa.

But they still needed another running back because without Franklin, they had only two halfbacks -- Eddie Lacy and James Starks -- plus fullback John Kuhn on their roster.

So it should not have come as a major surprise that on Monday they signed a running back, former Chicago Bears veteran Kahlil Bell, according to an NFL source.

Looking at the timing of MM's press conference today and how he postponed it I am thinking he is waiting to see the tests from Rodgers tests today. If its not good I bet Aaron Rodgers goes on the IR (which would be smart) or if they ir lattimore

Palmer or Wilson would be my guess. They must see something in Harper or they wouldn't have kept him this long. Palmer looked like crap, and Wilson supposedly is a run stopper (a big yeah right on that).

I think they'd IR Wilson or Worthy. Other positions like WR and OLB are a lot thinner than DL. Worthy didn't look like he was anywhere near 100% when he played the other week but I have no idea how bad Wilsons injury was. Either way we can afford to lose a back up lineman moreso than any other position on the roster.

What is wrong with Lattimore?
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
