Whoahhhhh! Adam pulled a fast one!

"Reporters were scrambling to confirm ESPN.com Adam Schefter's Tweet that Rams free agent RB Steven Jackson had agreed to a three-year deal with the Packers.

But then Schefter pulled the Tweet, so it's unclear if he just jumped the gun or if there are flaws with the report.

Stay tuned."

Well, it seemed imminent. If in fact true, I think it might be the best offensive addition they could have made. I think he would be great as a Packer.

everyone loves to be first with the scoop.
wish the media would wait for the teams or the player's agent to release info.

lol the Packers had their web design person prepare the page and template ... they accidently pushed that test site to the live site. I *never* do that.

Still, a 3 year deal is still quite a gamble and un-Tedlike. He (and Rodgers) will definitely need some better performance or players up front. Assuming that this was ever true to begin with.

I would dig that!

Funny, all this stuff with Adam Schefter's tweets... posts the SJax signing, pulls it, then hops a plane for Miami. Incomunicado.

Makes me sad I just gave up on my pursuit of dreads and got a haircut :(

Side note: Sjax is Harris' favorite player.

The Green Bay Packers are talking with free-agent RB Steven Jackson (Rams) about a three-year contract. The two sides are working on contract details. No deal is close at this point.

Read more: http://www.kffl.com/hotw/NFL?page=0#ixzz2NSC4xgP6

Let's assume this gets done. How fucking cool! I love it!

The Packers have had a need to be more run oriented for some time. Making a splash on a RB like Sjax is huge. I think a shift in offensive game plan and mindset are automatic, and will make for a more effective offense altogether. Even without Jennings, this offense has some pretty big firepower. Add Stephen Jackson into the mix, and this ball rolls.

Sustaining drives, and keeping our own D on the sidelines may become a reality.

Here's to seeing them get this done!
