Which is where I'm coming from with my 10% figure. IMO it is just that sort of scaling-back that is called for. IMO a *HUGE* fraction of what government now does it shouldn't be doing with. Because, IMO, the people who work for the government and do those things are *not* better at doing them just because they happen to get paid by the government for doing them. And many of them are, ahem, a lot worse. Again, IMO. |
