Sorry folks, but I'm still out here lurking in the shadows, ready to pounce on any bait that comes along. I was gone for a few days about three weeks ago. Got back and during a thunderstorm a lightning bolt took out our computer, refrigerator and just about the entire neighborhood. My daughter from Roswell N.M. is here and she just got the entire thing rebuilt and up and running.........somewhat.

She came up three weeks ago with our grandson, who is planning on staying here and going to school at UM. She has been having some health problems since her neck surgery two years ago and is seeing neurosurgeons here to try to find out what is wrong. Her doctor in Roswell recommended a doctor here so she has been undergoing test after test. So far everything seems fine except for the migraines and neck pain. I say cut her head off and she won't hurt, but my wife just gives me the old evil eye. No sense of humor at all on that side of the family.

If any of you out there watched the PGA this past weekend, our house we lived in when I taught in Sheboygan was shown several time in the ad shots from Whistling Straits. We lived right at the bend of the road (county LS) at Haven, WI. Those two big silos they were showing were at the north end of our property. Kind of strange to see a championship golf course there. When we lived there it was all farms.

Going Pike fishing this weekend again, but to a spot on the Clark Fork river up at Noxon Resevoir where the big guys hang out. Hopefully I don't have to go overboard again to retrieve a damn windshield.

Good to see you again Bobberino!
My wife was up at the tournament this whole past week. Her friend from work got the tickets and took her with.

Your daughter from ROSWELL......she wasn't born in 1947, was she???? LOL!
Maybe the aliens implanted her neck or something!

Bob... Glad to see you around.

Hopefully they find the cause of your daughters medical issues and a proper resolution..

But having your grandson around should be a treat.

Yeh, I'm still kicking.

Cheesey: I'd have killed to have been there again. I was there in 2004 when my brother got passes for the four days. Simply an awesome golf course.

Zero....where are you going to be? Fort Collins; Greeley; or somewhere else?
Like I said...keep in touch and when we head down that way maybe we can connect.

Right Pack93z....remember when you were 18 years old and the hormones were raging and late nights meant nothing????? Only good thing is he doesn't have a car and ain't no way in hell he's taking my truck to cruise Missoula at 1:00AM.

LOL.. I was trying to look at the "positive" side of the grandson moving in.. I can see it now.. Bob chauffeuring his grandson around at 1AM around Missoula.. lol. ;)

Wonder what music would be blaring from that ride.. 😉

beast (11h) : It was confusing with two DB Anthony Johnson anyways
Zero2Cool (15h) : Packers actually had Ray Lewis on the phone.
Zero2Cool (15h) : Packers wanted to draft Ray Lewis. Ravens stole him.

Zero2Cool (6-May) : Petty, but it's annoying me how the NFL is making the schedule release an event.
Mucky Tundra (4-May) : @mattschneidman Matt LaFleur on how he tore his pec: “Got in a fight with the bench press. I lost.”

Zero2Cool (2-May) : May 3rd. Extension day for Jordan Love. (soonest)
Zero2Cool (1-May) : USFL MVP QB Alex McGough moved to WR. So that's why no WR drafted!
earthquake (1-May) : Packers draft starters at safety ever few years. Collins, Clinton-Dix, Savage
beast (1-May) : Why can't the rookies be a day 1 starter? Especially when we grabbed 3 of them at the position
dfosterf (1-May) : Not going to be shocked if Gilmore goes to the Lions.
dfosterf (1-May) : I hear you dhazer, but my guess would be Gilmore Colts and Howard Vikings from what little has been reported.
Mucky Tundra (30-Apr) : S learn from McKinney who learns from Hafley who learns from the fans. Guaranteed Super Bowl
Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : could*
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Safeties should learn from Xavier.
dhazer (29-Apr) : And what about grabbing a Gilmore or Howard at CB ? Those are all Free Agents left
dhazer (29-Apr) : out of curiosity do they try and sign Simmons or Hyde to let these young safeties learn from, they can't be day 1 starters.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : I miss having Sam Shields.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Not that he's making excuses, just pointing it out

dfosterf (28-Apr) : Bowden long snapper Wisconsin. Consensus best LS in college.
dfosterf (28-Apr) : We got Peter Bowde
dfosterf (28-Apr) : I personally interpret that as a partial tear that can be recovered from with rehab
dfosterf (28-Apr) : MLF said Kingsley Enagbare did NOT tear his ACL and did NOT require surgery, and that he is "looking good" for the 2024 season!
