TV is full of improper representation and bad principles for kids to see and hear.

Hence where you as a parent intervene, teach and raise your children to understand right from wrong, reality from perception, and where the lines of a joke end and real life begins.

Again.. why I say that it is a better argument for the lack of direction from parents vs. blaming TV commercials for the direction of this country via learned behavior of our children.

In today's brave, new America. only men and Christians can openly be mocked and humiliated without the recourse any other group would have at their avail.

Look, we have geared K-12 education to cater to the learning style of girls....much to the detrement of boys.

Women outnumber men in this country, but I have contracts go to "minority" businesses run by women, based only on the fact they are run by women...not competitive bids.

Female teacher rapes a young boy....light prison sentence the then off to the talk show circuit.

Educational elites trying to tell us that men and women are no different psychologically, and gearing policy based on that.

Yep....men are acceptable targets in today's world. Personally, I am confodent enough in myself that it does not matter. However, the influence it has on women, and children of both genders, cannot be discounted. For that reason, I have a problem with this trend.

Shawn.....just because your son doesn't ask about it doesn't mean it's not subconsciously being "indoctrinated". That, and little girls are seeing that men are idiots too. Kids are like sponges, and pick up everything. They might not even realize it themselves. But i can't help but think that it influences them in some ways.

+1 for this part.

Yes, kids are like sponges and Hollywood for years has been demonizing men. Let's take the race out of it though as black men on black TV are demonized as being stupid with black women having all the answers. If you're white and never watched black TV, take a day to do that and you'll say "holy ****, Zombieslayer was right." It's every bit as bad.

We will have a generation that has no respect for men. Why is this bad? Well, look at the way things are headed. Men are no longer going to college. It is men, not women, who can't find jobs in this economy. Men have TWICE, yes TWICE, the suicide rate as women. Men live 8 years less than women.

Also look at policy changes. Pretty much all the policies today favor women and men are pretty much guilty until proven innocent.

The male suicide rate difference will increase, not decrease in the future. You will see more men "give up" and become homeless and/or drug addicts. You will see more men no longer care about the future as it's obvious the country cares less and less for them every year.

Nonstop brings up another point about crotch kicking. It's comedy. Did you know that a hard blow to the crotch can cause death? My father actually saw a man die by a kick to the crotch. Yes, die.

For you guys reading this, listen carefully. TV has trained people to attack the crotch. When you see a kick coming in that area, lift your leg. It's the most effective way of blocking a crotch kick. Practice it. It may some day save your life.

Back to Cheesey's point, someone else brought up in this thread how during the Super Bowl, 5 commercials made men look dumb compared to 1 that made women look dumb. I'll have to find who said that and give them a +1.

I worked with a guy who lost a testicle to cancer two years ago. I overheard two women talking about it and they fucking LAUGHED. Imagine if a man laughed at a woman losing an ovary or a breast. He'd be fired on the spot.

Fantastic post. Could not agree more. The constant attacks on males through the media is going to have serious consequences, even more than it has already.

Yeah, I know...but we are discussing American culture, hence I confined my analogy to the U.S.A.

I once read a statistic that gave me pause: Supposedly as many as 75% of Thai prostitutes are in fact post-op transexual men. When I read that, I couldn't help thinking, "Are the men who patronize those prostitutes so ignorant that they can't tell the difference -- or so desperate they just don't care?"

I mean, I've seen plenty of pictures of post-op "neovaginas" (research for some work I was doing), and believe me, they do not look natural. You'd have to be seriously inexperienced not to notice the difference.

Hmmm, maybe that's why Asian women don't shave "down there." 😉

By the way, there are two primary techniques used to construct these "neovaginas": turning the skin of the penis inside out (which has the advantage of providing reasonably good sensation) -- or, if the patient wasn't sufficiently well endowed to provide enough tissue for the procedure, using a segment of the patient's colon (which has the advantage of providing, ahem, copious natural lubrication).

Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : I really don't know lol. I don't see him getting blown up.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : -3 buwahhhahaaha
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : 4th
Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Context. Sounds like Myers won't be cross-trained. C or bust.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : @BookOfEli_NFL Packers pass game coordinator, Jason Vrable said that Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks shared a placed in Florida while train
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : For now...
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers go about evaluating their "best five," OL coach Luke Butkus makes on thing clear: "Josh Myers is our center."
beast (8-May) : Though I'm a bit surprised letting go of CBs, I thought we needed more not less
beast (8-May) : It was confusing with two DB Anthony Johnson anyways
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers actually had Ray Lewis on the phone.
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers wanted to draft Ray Lewis. Ravens stole him.
Martha Careful (6-May) : Happy 93rd Birthday to the Greatest Baseball Player of All-Time...Willie Mays
Zero2Cool (6-May) : Walter Stanely's son
buckeyepackfan (6-May) : and released CB Anthony Johnson and DL Deandre Johnson and waived/injured WR Thyrick Pitts (thigh-rick).
buckeyepackfan (6-May) : The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Julian Hicks, OL Lecitus Smith (luh-SEET-us) and WR Dimitri Stanley
Zero2Cool (6-May) : Petty, but it's annoying me how the NFL is making the schedule release an event.
Mucky Tundra (4-May) : @mattschneidman Matt LaFleur on how he tore his pec: “Got in a fight with the bench press. I lost.”
Zero2Cool (3-May) : Jordan Love CAN sign an extension as of today. Might tak weeks/months though
TheKanataThrilla (3-May) : Packers decline 5th year option for Stokes
Mucky Tundra (3-May) : @ProFootballTalk Jaylen Warren: Steelers' special teams coach has discussed Justin Fields returning kicks.
Zero2Cool (2-May) : Season officially ending tonight for Bucks ... sad face
Zero2Cool (2-May) : Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as out for tonight's game.
dfosterf (2-May) : Surprisingly low initially is my guess cap wise, but gonna pay the piper after that
dfosterf (2-May) : The number on Love is going to be brutal.
Zero2Cool (2-May) : May 3rd. Extension day for Jordan Love. (soonest)
Zero2Cool (1-May) : USFL MVP QB Alex McGough moved to WR. So that's why no WR drafted!
earthquake (1-May) : Packers draft starters at safety ever few years. Collins, Clinton-Dix, Savage
beast (1-May) : Why can't the rookies be a day 1 starter? Especially when we grabbed 3 of them at the position
dfosterf (1-May) : Not going to be shocked if Gilmore goes to the Lions.
dfosterf (1-May) : I hear you dhazer, but my guess would be Gilmore Colts and Howard Vikings from what little has been reported.
Mucky Tundra (30-Apr) : S learn from McKinney who learns from Hafley who learns from the fans. Guaranteed Super Bowl
Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : could*
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Safeties should learn from Xavier.
dhazer (29-Apr) : And what about grabbing a Gilmore or Howard at CB ? Those are all Free Agents left
dhazer (29-Apr) : out of curiosity do they try and sign Simmons or Hyde to let these young safeties learn from, they can't be day 1 starters.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : I miss having Sam Shields.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Not that he's making excuses, just pointing it out
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : That's for dang sure. Make our erratic kicker have no excuse!
packerfanoutwest (28-Apr) : having a great long snapper is gold
Zero2Cool (28-Apr) : LaFleur looking like he had some weight. Coachin will do that lol
