Dude, name me one quarterback who puts the same numbers up playing outdoors in December as he does in September and October.

Also instead of playing Detroit, Cleveland and Minny he will face Balt, Chicago and Pitts thus the reason i would bet 😛 i don't care what time of year it is
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

It wouldn't surprise me too much if Favre ends up with slightly better numbers than Rodgers, because he only plays one cold-weather game all year: the next away game at Soldier Field. The rest of his games will all be indoors or down south. Moreover, he has a solid running game, which will benefit him down the stretch.

I personally think Rodgers will consistently outshine him, however.

He would "absolutely" take Roethlisberger over Rodgers? Why exactly?

Oh, right, because "he just knows how to win."

It's those intangibles, dontchaknow.

Roethlisberger is a proven big-game QB. Rodgers hasn't had nearly as many chances to prove himself in big games, but you can't give him credit for things that he has not yet accomplished.

I agree with everything in the article, including the four QB's that Seifert would take over Rodgers. But in another year or two he could work his way right up into the group.

I gave ya a +1 NON because you made a good point all he does is win.

btw i don't think much of any stats right now for the packers because we have had 4 byes already this year. Now after we play the likes of the Cowboys, Steelers and Ravens defenses and he has those stats ill be impressed.

As far as being offensive player of the month i give him credit for winning that and only playing 1 pro team.

No, he won't be impressed people. He'll make up some other excuse like the Cowboys aren't who we thought they were, the Steelers got beat up by the Vikings weeks prior and the Ravens are too old and have poor secondary.

Rodgers doesn't create the schedule, you know.
You can look at it that way, or you can say Rodgers has produced even though he's getting sacked more than any other QB in the league.

"dhazer" wrote:

he hasn't been sacked that much more 😛 like i said if he can put up those numbers in dec i will be impressed, but im willing to put money on that he won't.

Bring the sack numbers, bitch.

Stats in the middle of the season are pointless to look at. Rodgers will play some good games and then some bad games. I do think he's capable of throwing on any team in the league because the passing game is that good. It's just a matter of protection.

I really, really hate it when people come with 'he knows how to win'. That statement tells me nothing. Trent Dilfer knew how to win. Please raise your hands if you'd rather have Trent Dilfer than Aaron Rodgers.

Warren Moon went just over .500 (102-101) in his career and went .300 (3-7) in the play-offs. He's a HoF-er because he was a great player. The supporting cast just never got them far.

I'd rather have Rodgers on this team than Roethlisberger. Don't get me wrong, Big Ben is a good quarterback and he's doing a suprisingly good job of carrying the offense, but having that Steelers defense sure does help.

As someone who enjoys stats at anytime of the year I say bull donkey doo. Stats are entertaining and if obtained objectively are able to show a trend in some areas.

So, there is a point.

I'm writing this down - and if he plays well against those teams I'm fully expecting that you'll go back on your word somehow, and twist it all around to "prove" he didn't do anything.
