And in 2006 as well. But like British stated, Tramon Williams and Jordy Nelson are still ahead of him. Tramon is quite a kick-off and punt returner himself. Nelson is solid.

Apparently, Wynn has shown some potential on kick-off returns. He was good enough to beat out Sutton. I imagine that he won't be very flashy, but that he will get us to the 25 or so.

I always got the feeling that we placated Woodson by sticking him on punt returns during his earlier years here. During his contract negotiations he apparently stated a desire to play some offense. At this stage of his career, he's far too valuable to have out there on special teams.

I'm hopeful Blackmon will be able to go. I don't like the idea of Woodson returning anything. Sure he's a playmaker, but it scares the shit out of me. Collins is deadly with the ball in his hands too, but I don't want to see him returning kickoffs either.

This thread title is badly in need of a question mark. I think they should put the best returner in there, regardless of who it is. Play to win, baby.

If Blackmon can't go, I nominate Tramon Williams for punt returns (although I might consider Woodson, because he's done a decent job of it in the past) and nobody for kick returns, because we don't have anybody who's any good at it besides Blackmon. They might as well have Ryan Pickett back there.

I'd go with Tramon over Woodson. Tramon has a return for a TD already and he's not our best defensive player. 🙂
