I know it's preseason, but man is our first team sharp. First team offense is 5-for-6 scoring touchdowns on possessions and the first team defense has not allowed a point. D is also a turnover machine. I know they won't be able to sustain this level of play during the entire season, but bring on the Bears and Vikings! (And pleeeease God, no injuries.)

Exactly.

This team looks amazing so far. I'm trying to limit my excitement since it was the Brown and Bills, but still....awesome on both sides of the ball.

whether it was just the Browns or Bills...thus far our first team D (which isn't really even our entire first team D) has held both teams to NO POINTS, barely any yards and just utter fucking confusion.

that's just insane!

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

they are looking good, but it is preseason, but still you have to love the way aaron looks and capers defense looks like they want the ball on every play !!

thats the season in a nutshell, defense if we play tough and get the job done we will be sitting on top of the nfc north !!

i know...we're all trying not to get too excited but last year in the pre we were still getting walked all over. this...this is something entirely different. even Favre's last year was just good luck as opposed to last year's bad luck. this year is gearing up to look like a whole lot more than any kind of luck.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

The regular season just needs to get hear already! I'm not trying to get too excited over two preseason games, but I love the way the team is looking. It is hard to contain my excitement when the offense looks awesome and the new defense is looking killer and so much improved.

I agree. The biggest change from a base cover 2 we saw last year was Woodson blitzing on a play or two. The biggest change this year was a 300 pound DE dropping back in coverage, a safety blitzing and the ILBs stunting and getting in there for a sack. And that all can happen in one play in this defense.

Of course, we shouldn't be overly optimistic, but it's a fact that our first team has destroyed the other first teams quite badly. Our 3/4th stringers are the ones going 3 and out and giving up points.

Ok before i start i want to put a warning on this post. If you have a weak heart please do not read and i will not be responsible if you do :p

I am very excited about Rodgers he looks for real, Grant looks like he is running hard again and hell i love Sutton.

The defense is exciting to watch ( I like watching the Steelers and Raven games because of the hitting) I am getting very excited about this season and just got my tickets for the Steeler game. I start trash talking now with the Steeler fans and saying get ready and stop our offense if you can and btw good luck with your mediocre offense going against our defense.

This ends this post now you can go take your heart pills lol.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Mucky Tundra (28-Apr) : damn those vikings

beast (27-Apr) : OL – Donovan Jennings, USF OT – Trente Jones, Michigan
TheKanataThrilla (27-Apr) : Interesting draft. A bit shocked that we didn't select an early CB. Definitely have Safety help. Pretty happy overall.

TheKanataThrilla (27-Apr) : I think he ended up with a terrible RAS score
