How Quinn is in consideration for any head coaching job boggles the mind. He crapped the bed in his head coaching Super Bowl loss and, in this game, could not make adjustments. I think Dallas is hopeful he gets a head coaching job.

Go Packers!!!!

Feel bad for Mike, nobody outside the Packer fandom saw what happened Sunday coming.

Kinda like when Gute took over from Ted, he should have moved on from Mike,(and Aaron), and started his rebuild in 2018.

In both cases Mike is going to be hung out to dry as the scapegoat.

Nothing is easier than being a Monday Mng. qb!

Just a thought on the available coaches this year.

Clearly, Harbaugh is the 'bell of the ball'. He is young, has great pro experience, and is coming off a national championship. But IMO he relishes being the center of attention, which I do not like. One aspect of MLF which I like is that he does not thrust himself into the center of attention and, to me, he really seems to make it about the players, which they appreciate.

Everyone seems to be in love with Belichick, and I supposed I understand that given his incredible record. But he is OLD, and his last few years have not been stellar.

To me, Mike Vrabel would be a my choice if I were an owner over Harbaugh. He actually reminds me of a younger, less grumpy Belichick. You may recall that Belichick had a head coaching stint in Cleveland that did not go that well and did not end well. He learned from his mistakes and record for Belichick 2.0 (I hope you like the IT reference Z2C!!) is outstanding. IMO, Vrabel was pretty darn good in Tennessee, much better than Belichick 1.0, and he would be my first choice if I were a GM looking for a new guy.

Also, Brian Gutekunst couldn't fire the HC because he didn't have that authority like Ted Thompson did. Regardless, Mike McCarthy did get one year (just like Sherman got under Thompson) before Packers made a change at HC. Packers/Gutekunst saw the Super Bowl window was still open and they tried to cash in on it. I'm not sure how anyone can say Gutekunst should have done things differently. Especially knowing he couldn't fire the HC to begin with. So, I think we see that differently. 😉

Lastly, Mike McCarthy knew what he was getting into when accepting Head Coach with Cowboys. He's not a scapegoat. I'm not sure how that even gets parlayed into this. I would enjoy hearing the reasoning behind that thought.
