The table below shows the average time a passer has to before he throws the ball, gets sacked, or crosses the line of scrimmage for five of the best quarterbacks in the league over the last four years.

Holding the ball too long as not a virtue, even if you're an accurate downfield passer.

Holding the ball too long....yes, that happens. But how many other QB's panic and throw the ball instead of holding onto it, forcing a interception?
I'd rather have him keep it then force a throw turning the ball over.

It's total crap - this idiotic criticism of Rodgers for holding on to the ball too long. If there are stats saying he waits a longer time to throw, they are a product of his escapability, and they are more than justified by his amazing accuracy throwing on the run.

Throwing interceptions loses games; Throwing completions, especially down the field, especially especially for TDs, those things win games. It's as simple as that.

I will say again what somebody disagreed with the other day, AARON RODGERS IS A BETTER QB NOT ONLY THAN ANYBODY ELSE PLAYING NOW, BUT THAN ANYBODY ELSE IN THE HISTORY OF THE NFL - Better than Brady and P. Manning, better than Elway or Montana or Unitas, and yes, better even than the other two Packer greats who rank near the top all time.

My question is those who are always bashing the Packers offensive line. If the OL is so terrible, how the hell is Aaron Rodgers holding onto the ball for so long?

And the O Line ain't terrible, at least not IMO. It's just not great - maybe borderline between good and mediocre.
