Does anybody calling for the cutting of Williams realize before last nights game, he had a streak of 3 games where he did not allow a reception to the man he was covering?

Probably not, because all some of you want to see is "Packer players fail"

This is going to be fun the next few weeks, wonder how many other players will be put on the "cut now" list.

Williams, Wallace, hell I'll throw Hawk on the list right now, because it's won't be long until the "haters" will take over.

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

His guy has been thrown at 37 times and 20 of them have been caught.

Being cut is more about his salary and value to the team with three guys on the roster who are better than him.

Remove your green and gold glasses and put the team first, not a player you are a fan of. Team > Player.

It's just that McCown held up under it, got the ball out as he was getting crushed, a number of times.

Bares were fresh from an extra week of rest, could have been the difference.

Cutting him now would cost 4m and lower the teams depth in the secondary. There would be no benefit to cutting him over simply benching him. Come next year there's no doubt him or his paycheck will be cut but there's no reason to do it right now.

Also to be fair, Tramon Williams has played more defensive snaps than any other Packer and as a CB he has two sacks, which happens to tie 3rd most on the team.

I won't back down from my suggestion he should have been traded for Jarius Byrd though. 🙂
