I think that after a few more games, Rodgers and co. may have seen what was going on and would have started spreading the ball around like ARod does. But yes Finley going down did help Rodgers focus on the rest like he should.

I'm going to agree with this but with a very subtle, yet very important, distinction. I'd say that "Finley going down forced Rodgers to focus on the rest like he should."

That being said, I have the highest confidence in Rodgers and fully would have expected him to lose some of that tunnel-vision he had for Finley at some point this season. Finley was his new toy and we all tend to focus on the new toy for a while until the shininess starts to wear off a bit. Rodgers would've come around eventually. I think it sucks that we don't have Finley right now.

Yes, it's probable that the Packers offense would have adapted within a few games, but at what cost? It's quite possible they would have racked up another loss or two trying to force it to Finley before they started opening things up a bit.

Then again, having Finley down the stretch could have garnered this team an extra victory or two, too. It's hard to imagine they would have scored so few points against the Lions, Jets, or Bears with Finley in the lineup, and I have to think that there's a chance Finley could have pushed them over the top against the Patriots and Falcons.

With that, this means that we could have had at least one more win, putting us in the 2nd or 3rd spot on the NFC (same record as the Saints, not sure about the tie-breakers), and Rodgers would certainly by this point have learned to utilize all the receivers with a great balance, and Finley would have helped us in the playoffs. We are not better at this point without Finley.

FACT lol... I had a tough time remembering where I had put a comment on Finley and A-Rod. Did not expect it to be under "Walden Wins NFC DPOW"

True, but sex hasn't been mentioned yet and it's already almost in its 3rd page. Weird.

The thing about Walden, what can we say about him? I think most of us have already said they didn't know who he was until either right before the game or until we saw Walden on his back when the game started.
