I read the injury report that someone posted on here yesterday I believe(might have been posted earlier but thats when I read it) and if I remember correctly 4-5 players were affected with concussions and I'm just wondering why...I mean I can't seem to remember that ever happening in the 6 years that I've been following this team. Is it that they are just playing agressivly, or are people playing dirty?

Maybe they're just actually reporting the concussions now. The NFL sort of has a history of covering them up.

Concussions seem to be a a big focus for the NFL this year as well as the media. I read an article in the New Yorker and saw a piece on PBS about NFL concussions. Not places you usually see a lot of football talk. There has also been recent senate hearings about the issue with the commissioner, so it's likely they're trying to do a better job reporting this injury and hopefully keeping players off the field so they can heal.

yeah, I'm with the better diagnosis/reporting. I read a report somewhere (can't site the source, sorry) where it was shown that when a player gets hit and "gets his bell rung" that's actually a mini concussion. I'm glad that the NFL is starting to take this issue so seriously with the players.
