I thought Tauscher had declined last season before the injury. I know he only gave up two sacks, but he seemed to lose some of his power, especially as a run blocker. I can't prove it, of course, because there are no good stats for offensive linemen. Number of sacks is about it, and it's only a partial and somewhat subjective measure of a lineman's performance in pass protection.

You know what!

I agree with you! I think Snyder sucks to

But since you bit the hook heres a bit of info for you.

The Daniel Snyder led Redskins have a 1 game advamtage record-wise in the last 4 years over the Ted Thompson led Packers.

So everything you say about Snyder goes for Thompson. Different approaches same result - Failure

So to sum it up in your own words.....

Ha, Thompson is a freaking joke in football.

His franchise are a laughing stock.

They are a train wreck of a franchise

Now be hypocritical and go off into some rant about cap space, or untapped talent or how we will win games in 2012

Snyder is a joke.....but he's not quite as much of a joke as Ted Thompson. At least he tries to improve his team

dd80forever: Those were Thompson's first four years. It is expected that when a new GM and new coach come in, there are going to be a couple of down years. And if Thompson was considered to be "a joke," he would not have won the Executive of the Year award after the 2007 season. If his reputation has fallen so far just one year after that, it must be the best-kept secret in football, because I sure haven't heard about it. Maybe you should go to the Smack Forum, if we still have one of those here.

When asked if Snyder was a good GM?

Answer is, NO.

Yet when faced with the FACT that Snyder has a better record over the last 4 years then Ted Thompson has it reverts to mumbling about traveling comedy shows.

I love watching people squirm. It's funny. What no facts to back anything up?

Executive of the year? Oh boy. Care to tell me where other Executives of the years are these days?

While you are at it look at Snyders record from his first 4 seasons as well.

Excuse #2 debunked.

VP Vinny Cerrato is actually considered the GM, not Snyder. Just want to help you get your story straight.

I didn't even see you post any evidence of you're so-called "facts."

2005: Pack (4-12) Redskins (10-6)
2006: Pack (8-8) Redskins (5-11)
2007: Pack (13-3) Redskins (9-7)
2008: Pack (6-10) Redskins (8-8)

Packers (31-33) Redskins (32-32). You were correct in saying the Redskins had the better record but by one win? Oh yea, let's add this year and the Packers are on top. Not to mention that the Packers (4-2) are a youthful team that's just now developing into the team they've been built to be while the Redskins (2-5) are doing terrible and have a power struggle in the coaches office.

LOL, Which path to failure is better? 2 different approaches 1 result......mediocrity.

Yet when it's another teams mediocrity it's "they suck"

When it's your team it's "they have potential"

I was unaware the Redskins didn't have any "potential" on their team.

Yes and you win.......if you include this seasonthe Packers are 1 game above the Skins in the last 4 years..........Oh Thank God. 1 game better than the guy who "sucks". I feel so much better now.
