So you're assuming we'll give up 4 sacks against the Vikings? 🙂

I don't hope so. Was just going with 25 / 6 * 7 = 29.167.

Interesting that people are considering Spitz solely in terms of a C.

Why not at LG? Going back to the 2-3 games Spitz was at LG while Colledge was at LT, Spitz played damn good. I think during that span, the interior of the line gave up a handful of pressures. I think that interior even shutout the Williams' wall from registering a sack or pressure - which is phenomenal.

Colledge is OK at LG, at times good, but imo Spitz was at times dominant while at LG.

Spitz was probably our best lineman last year at RG also. There is no way he doesn't get a new deal.

I found this interesting, people say we give up so many sacks and thats why we can't run the ball and worry about Rodgers health. Here is some of the other qbs.

Rodgers 25 sacks
Cassell 24 sacks
Big Ben 20 sacks
Favre 18 sacks

so if you look he hasn't been hit alot more than other qbs

Rodgers 6 games= 4.1 a game

Cassel 7 games 27 sacks= 3.8

Ben 7 games 20 sacks= 2.8

Brett 7 games 18 sacks=2.5

LOL

You know KC, Oakland, Detroit, Buffalo, GB and Washington are the top 6 in sacks given up?

What is the common part of that? Other then GB they all have a losing record

beast (18h) : Why can't the rookies be a day 1 starter? Especially when we grabbed 3 of them at the position
dfosterf (21h) : Not going to be shocked if Gilmore goes to the Lions.
dfosterf (22h) : I hear you dhazer, but my guess would be Gilmore Colts and Howard Vikings from what little has been reported.

dhazer (29-Apr) : out of curiosity do they try and sign Simmons or Hyde to let these young safeties learn from, they can't be day 1 starters.
