So who will be emergency qb?

I really think this will be resolved in the next day or two with a FA signing.

But if Ted Thompson decides to start the season with 2qb's, who will be the emergency guy?

DD has taken some snaps, I am thinking it will be him.

Anybody else on the roster who was a former qb that could step in as emergency qb?

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

Nelson was a high school QB (but that was more of a running job than throwing). But Nelson did throw passes on fakes in college and they looked alright... not on the NFL level but better than I know of anyone else on the roster other than the QBs.

I'm still waiting for Mike McCarthy to call a fake for Nelson to throw a deep Pass for someone to catch......

I think I've read Donald Driver and Al Harris used to play QB at some stage of their careers (high school?). I'm sure they were mentioned when the Packers only kept Favre and Rodgers in 2007.

As terrible as it sounds, I half-want to see Driver play a game under center. However, I don't want anybody to get hurt or us to lose games because of it. Guess I could just mess with rosters in Madden 2005... Yes, my most recent version of Madden is that old. I also have Madden '94 for the SNES. :>
