WOW! It amazes me how nasty you Packers fans are to the 1 man who made the Pack what it is today just because he is having a Hard time with making the decision to retire.

I'm 38 and I think if I were in Favres shoes I would be the same way. I dont feel that 39 is old. Maybe by NFL standards yes, but to actually admit that I am to old to play would be very hard. Brett loves the game like few others do and has a blast when he plays.

So what if he blew a few games with INTs over the years, so what if the Pack did not go to the big game more because of him. The 1 thing that was always present when Favre was in GB was the opportunity, the excitement and the hope.

Before Brett arrived the Packers were just a shell of a team, they were the Lions. After his arrival the Pack went mainstream and people all over the world became Pack/Favre fans.

When a Legend decides to retire it is hard on everyone. Especially the legend. But Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy made a horrible decision by treating #4 like any other player and they are the reason he is now with the Vikes.

How did the Pack do last year with their new wonder boy? Oh, wait. That was just due to the rebuilding. Rogers was great, had some great stats and games but it was not his fault.

Rogers was a One year wonder, now this year I predict the Pack will fall apart even more and start heading towards being more like the Lions once again. It is very very sad but true. And really, Ted Thompson, Mike McCarthy and all the Favre haters now deserve exactly what is coming to them. I for one will be laughing when the Pack is destroyed in front of the world by their former Legend, it is coming and I for one will really enjoy it.

Minnesota WILL be in the Super Bowl this year. But they will not be able to Stop Pittsburgh. Steelers 31 - Vikings 27

Packers 4 - 10 at the very best. Rogers will be replaced mid season due to bad performance. McCarthy will be looking for a Job next year and Ted will know that he made CRUCIAL mistake that caused the Pack to become a losing team for the next decade or longer.

Sorry Pack fans but Favre had more Fans than the Packers themselves. Everyone knows that when #4 was pushed aside that the hopes and dreams of all the fans were as well.

It isn't too late to change your mind and buy a Viking Jersey to show your Support. A real fan would do this, I for one will be wearing the purple #4 at all Pack home games this year and rooting for a loss for the Pack. ONLY because I want to see Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy face the music and cast aside.

IF Favre just wanted to play for the love of the game , why didn't he keep playing for the Jets, why is he playing for a hated rival of the Packers? Hmmmmmmm?

Favre actually said he plays for the love of winning.

The Vikings give him that feeling. He knows their offense. They have a lot of talent, and are a very good team.

Put those two together.. and it seems... Hmmm.. Lemmie check.. Yup. they add up!

So....Favre believes that the fact that the Vikings have Adrian Peterson will make up for his errant trows.
Yup......makes sense......

Adrian Peterson IS known as Purple Jesus..

Favre believes that he doesn't have to carry the team like he had to in the past in GB and NY. Even was mentioned in the presser. Yes, he'll be asked to make somethings happen. But not on the same level as in the past.

That's the theory. We'll see if it pans out.

This is about revenge for Favre. This love of the game crap is ridiculous and everyone knows it and I think in a few years Favre will probably admit as much after time has past and wounds have been healed. The system and coaches are just an added bonus.

As far as the original post....

The post is ridiculous. Don't mistake all Packer fans for a few. However, signing with the Vikings so you can beat the Packers is what it is. Why should Packer fans root for one player? They're Packer fans. Rooting for one player doesn't make you a fan of a team. It makes you a fan of that player. If that's what you are then that's cool, but I personally am a Packer fan and I hope the Packers make Favre look bad when they play. Just like I hope the Packers make Cutler, Stafford, Romo, etc look bad too.

Couldn't disagree with you more.

He would have signed months ago if 'revenge' was a factor. Favre has moved on.. A lot of you Pack fans.. Haven't.

You're reaching here, reaching big time. I was actually expecting a non bs reply from you.

He knew he could have his arm 'fixed'.

The more I think about him retiring from the Jets, then running to the Vikings, the more I'm starting to lean towards it was part of his plan the whole time. The Packers simply delayed the inevitable and got a 3rd round pick of it.

Martha Careful (17-May) : I bet some of us have had 6+ mRNA jabs, a UKR flag on our walls, and still think Fauci has a thread of integrity
Zero2Cool (16-May) : From what I've read, it's all Jets , not us.
CanPackFan (16-May) : Will there ever be a time when Rodgers' whacko views will not reflect on GB? He is the past, thank god.
Zero2Cool (16-May) : Jan 4th gonna be rough with that start time lol
Zero2Cool (16-May) : Packers schedule listed. Boom.
buckeyepackfan (15-May) : Let the leaks begin. Colts @ Packers week 2, Vikings @ Packers week 4
Zero2Cool (14-May) : WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling to Bills
Zero2Cool (14-May) : Jets and Aaron Rodgers open up on Monday Night Football,
Zero2Cool (13-May) : $170 guaranteed. This might impact Jordan Love
Zero2Cool (13-May) : Lions are signing QB Jared Goff to a four-year, $212 million extension
Zero2Cool (13-May) : I know we moved on. That tidbit just makes me a touch happier.
Zero2Cool (13-May) : Sources spoke of many, many times last summer where Hackett called a play, then Rodgers changed it completely at the line
Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : I really don't know lol. I don't see him getting blown up.

Mucky Tundra (9-May) : 4th
Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Context. Sounds like Myers won't be cross-trained. C or bust.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : @BookOfEli_NFL Packers pass game coordinator, Jason Vrable said that Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks shared a placed in Florida while train
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : For now...
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers go about evaluating their "best five," OL coach Luke Butkus makes on thing clear: "Josh Myers is our center."
beast (8-May) : Though I'm a bit surprised letting go of CBs, I thought we needed more not less
beast (8-May) : It was confusing with two DB Anthony Johnson anyways
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers actually had Ray Lewis on the phone.
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers wanted to draft Ray Lewis. Ravens stole him.
Martha Careful (6-May) : Happy 93rd Birthday to the Greatest Baseball Player of All-Time...Willie Mays
Zero2Cool (6-May) : Walter Stanely's son
buckeyepackfan (6-May) : and released CB Anthony Johnson and DL Deandre Johnson and waived/injured WR Thyrick Pitts (thigh-rick).
buckeyepackfan (6-May) : The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Julian Hicks, OL Lecitus Smith (luh-SEET-us) and WR Dimitri Stanley
Zero2Cool (6-May) : Petty, but it's annoying me how the NFL is making the schedule release an event.
Mucky Tundra (4-May) : @mattschneidman Matt LaFleur on how he tore his pec: “Got in a fight with the bench press. I lost.”
Zero2Cool (3-May) : Jordan Love CAN sign an extension as of today. Might tak weeks/months though
TheKanataThrilla (3-May) : Packers decline 5th year option for Stokes
Mucky Tundra (3-May) : @ProFootballTalk Jaylen Warren: Steelers' special teams coach has discussed Justin Fields returning kicks.
Zero2Cool (2-May) : Season officially ending tonight for Bucks ... sad face
Zero2Cool (2-May) : Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as out for tonight's game.
dfosterf (2-May) : Surprisingly low initially is my guess cap wise, but gonna pay the piper after that
dfosterf (2-May) : The number on Love is going to be brutal.
Zero2Cool (2-May) : May 3rd. Extension day for Jordan Love. (soonest)
Zero2Cool (1-May) : USFL MVP QB Alex McGough moved to WR. So that's why no WR drafted!
