My favorite player in this game was Quinn Johnson. This is the type of blocking that Tony Richardson has done for so long, the one that paves way for Adrian Peterson. I had to rewind, point him out to everyone I was watching with and watch the runs again. He absolutely dominates the guy he blocks.

-Charlie Peprah INTERCEPTION!!!!!!! The 3-4 defense magically turned everyone good. Maybe Ted Thompson actually was bringing in good people but our coaches were idiots. All of a sudden Jeremy Thompson, Desmond Bishop, Peprah, etc are all good!

I had that same thought. Of course it's just a preseason game against a lousy Browns team, etc., but it looks like this scheme makes better use of our personnel than the other one did.

Positives, people....all positives. Crosby missing a few seems to be the only negative, and hopefully that WILL be fixed.

ya while at the time I was pissed that brohm was sucking so bad. To be honest I rather Mike McCarthy work brohm in the pre-season and find out what he has here then take a chance during a real game.

Still sad we didnt pick up Vik (trade flynn and brohm for vik 🙂

The only negative I have about Quinn is that he doesn't hit the hole at full speed. He seemed to be holding back - more like jogging as opposed to running - to meet his blocker. Perhaps he is just struggling with the mental side of his game - knowing the playbook (and his assignments) inside out.

That said, when Quinn did make contact he would usually push his man (usually LB) back. Impressive considering the LB had more momentum than Johnson.
