I just don't see Jordy Nelson as a slot guy. A slot guy needs to be quick off the line and able to change directions quickly. He is more of the guy who is better served outside. Once Driver is gone, Jones will probably be our primary slot receiver. I remember reading somewhere during last training camp that Jones was the best and quickest within the first five yards off the line of ALL of our receivers, mainly due to his strength.

We have seen what Jones can do healthy, so this is great news. There really isnt any other news is there? That story on the front page about this being a boring offseason is STILL there. STILL!!!

I like Jones a lot. He does remind me of Sharpe.

Good article, even though it's just packers.com. I think Jones will be great this year if healthy, and I also heard good things about Jordy Nelson in the minicamps. Often the #3 and #4 wideout positions have been pretty much interchangeable with the Packers, and that may prove to be the case with these two guys. Thus far Jones is Mr. Inside and Nelson is Mr. Outside, but I'm looking for Nelson to become a more complete player this year.
