What I find interesting about the trades is it's the ones we didn't hear a damn thing about that happen. Basically, if you hear about it, that means it's not happening. Granted, I'm sure there are exceptions to this, but look around the NFL. How many of those trades were like whoa wait I thought Team X was in on Player Y, not Team Z, where that come from?
Bears and Claypool, no one heard squat.
Jaguars and Ridley, no one heard squat.
Bills were linked to McCaffery, no one was saying Rams or 49ers, who we found out were battling one another behind the scenes.
The list goes on and on. Basically, the rumors and things we hear are nothing more than ways to garner our attention and misguidedly crank up our hopes.
