interesting,,sounds like MLF was reading the CHAT during the first half.......

If we were playing Man to man in the first half, our man to man sucks… which is not too big of a reach because Hockenson was matched and a linebacker and Kevin king was matched and whoever.

If you have better man match ups, that might be a good place to start. Second, having pressure up the guy that would be a good thing as well, and we had absolutely none

I wonder what he means by playing Coverage... conservative zone coverage? Or is that why they went to dime coverage?

Also what was he doing then in the first half? Rushing four, the CBs in man, but what were the ILB and S doing?

But I was saying at half, we got to bring pressure because we can't just sit and cover all day... that four seconds in one on one man coverage might be better than 8 seconds in zone coverage.


People made a huge deal when LaFleur told Pettine something, and some (not on here) were demanding his firing because Pettine "had to be told"... we'll see what their reaction to the new guy being even worse and having to be told even more basic things.


On that note, one of the promises the new guy made was improved tackling, and I don't remember many missed tackles so far.

I'm not surprised this is being discussed more and more. Honestly, I think this happens a lot more than we know. Only nitpick thing I'd mention is it being public and coming off like Matt is taking credit for the 2nd half change.
