This should be the first time in a decade that Green Bay does not receive any additional picks. Over the Cap is one of the best resources for NFL fans interested in the business and contracts side of football. However, beyond their repository of contract and salary cap details, OTC is also exceptional in their tracking of free agency for the purposes of estimating compensatory draft picks .
For the 2019 NFL Draft , it’s plain to see from the free agent transaction list  that the Green Bay Packers  will not receive any compensatory picks. The team lost only one qualifying free agent during the 2018 signing period — safety Morgan Burnett  — but signed two in tight end Jimmy Graham  and defensive back Tramon Williams. As a result of signing more of those players than they lost, the Packers will not receive any of the league’s 32 additional draft picks this spring.
This will be the first year since 2009 that the Packers do not get at least one compensatory pick. Here’s a look at the 18 total picks that they received in the past nine seasons:

Green Bay currently holds ten picks in the 2019 NFL Draft. They have their own selections, the 12th pick of each round, plus three others acquired in trades over the past year. The Packers traded for the Saints ’ first-round draft pick (exact position to be determined) during the first round of last year’s draft, flipped safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix  for Washington’s fourth-round choice (4.16), and acquired Seattle’s 6th-round pick (6.21) for quarterback Brett Hundley .

I figured we wouldn't, but I don't really mind this year.

Like the article said, we have 10 picks in this draft. Next to that, we would've most likely gotten a 6th rounder for Burnett. A round that usually doesn't even net you a player with the skill-set of an aging Tramon or over-the-hill Jimmy Graham.

dfosterf (1-May) : Not going to be shocked if Gilmore goes to the Lions.
dfosterf (1-May) : I hear you dhazer, but my guess would be Gilmore Colts and Howard Vikings from what little has been reported.

Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : could*
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Safeties should learn from Xavier.
dhazer (29-Apr) : And what about grabbing a Gilmore or Howard at CB ? Those are all Free Agents left

dfosterf (28-Apr) : Bowden long snapper Wisconsin. Consensus best LS in college.
dfosterf (28-Apr) : We got Peter Bowde
dfosterf (28-Apr) : I personally interpret that as a partial tear that can be recovered from with rehab
dfosterf (28-Apr) : MLF said Kingsley Enagbare did NOT tear his ACL and did NOT require surgery, and that he is "looking good" for the 2024 season!
beast (28-Apr) : T.O. son signs with the 49ers
Mucky Tundra (28-Apr) : damn those vikings
