In answer to your question Dhaze,

I don't know, but if Ted trades Aaron, we're tradin' your ass to packerchatters.

Never was considered a top over all pick an fell down to the 24th spot. Nope, he just doesn't know how to handle adversity as well as Cutler either.

"dhazer" wrote:

Well Zero look at the difference in the talent in the 2 drafts? Rodgers falls to 24 and Cutler is drafted 11th. Granted he was the 3rd qb drafted but your right Rodgers had that awesome draft he fell in lol. So hell i guess way you look at it i guess Vince Young should draw more than Cutler does. After all Young was being looked at #1

Cutler is far above Vince Young and Matt Leinart. I just checked out those two drafts. I don't see the point you're trying to make. Who cares about the quality of the draft they were in? How is that relevant at all? I simply mentioned the humility Rodgers displayed during his great fall. I didn't say a thing about the talent level in that draft.

Ahh wait, I get it. You're missing the beef of the post and since you have nothing to rebuttal with you make a pathetic quip about the talent pool. Gotcha.

Anyhow, as I said. Cutler would net more than Rodgers. Rodgers has only done his thing for one season, Cutler has shown some consistency for two years in a row. Albeit his first season starting wasn't ROCKSTAR like, but it looks like it should have been enough to at least keep his team in the game.

If Rogders matches his stats of last year plus or minus 5% I'd have to say that Rodgers would net more.

Look, I am not a huge Ted fan or a huge Rodgers fan but 100% WITHOUT A DOUBT I would trade A-Rod for Jay Cutler.

Sorry, you guys suffer from some serious homerism or something. Cutler to A-Rod is apples to oranges.

I beleive I have seen it all now

It is simply my opinion. A-rod is HIGHLY overrated in Packerland. I love Cutler and think he is a top 7 QB in the NFL. I'm just in love with Jay Cutler. I know the numbers are similar so apples to oranges was probably to harsh. The sad thing is he is now the QB of the hated rivals.

This much I will say, Cutler is the closest thing I have seen to Brett in a QB.. in terms of confidence and willing to say anything.. even in double talk.

Culter is a good QB, he's not elite like some say. He's played, what two full seasons? He had one good season and one mediocre season. That's hardly greatness.

We need to see another good season from Rodgers.

I am interested in seeing what some of the non believers and Rodgers haters will say if Rodgers duplicates his '08 season in '09 with a few more wins.

Me too. Unfortunately, there are some here that will hate Rodgers no matter what, simply because he is not Favre; which I think is lame.

He was a borderline Pro Bowler last year with a shitty defense. AND IT WAS HIS FIRST YEAR STARTING!!!!! Plus his shoulder was hurt for a good stretch of the season as well.

Well, he just became the QB of that team today so what can I say. Believe it or not you CAN like players from other teams. I like Cutler and think in 3-4 years he will be in the top 3 of QB's in the NFL. I did at least when he was with Denver.

I also like Romo and Matt Ryan as well. Just because I like others upside more than A-Rods doesn't mean I'm not a Packers fan. I can seperate my opinions from my fandom

dd80, you don't have an objective bone in your body. What are you going to say if Rodgers has another year like last year, with more wins? Admit it, you hate Rodgers because he replaced Favre.

Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.

Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.

Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Context. Sounds like Myers won't be cross-trained. C or bust.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : @BookOfEli_NFL Packers pass game coordinator, Jason Vrable said that Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks shared a placed in Florida while train
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : For now...
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers go about evaluating their "best five," OL coach Luke Butkus makes on thing clear: "Josh Myers is our center."

beast (8-May) : It was confusing with two DB Anthony Johnson anyways
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers actually had Ray Lewis on the phone.
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers wanted to draft Ray Lewis. Ravens stole him.

Zero2Cool (6-May) : Petty, but it's annoying me how the NFL is making the schedule release an event.
Mucky Tundra (4-May) : @mattschneidman Matt LaFleur on how he tore his pec: “Got in a fight with the bench press. I lost.”
Zero2Cool (3-May) : Jordan Love CAN sign an extension as of today. Might tak weeks/months though

dfosterf (2-May) : The number on Love is going to be brutal.
Zero2Cool (2-May) : May 3rd. Extension day for Jordan Love. (soonest)
Zero2Cool (1-May) : USFL MVP QB Alex McGough moved to WR. So that's why no WR drafted!
earthquake (1-May) : Packers draft starters at safety ever few years. Collins, Clinton-Dix, Savage
beast (1-May) : Why can't the rookies be a day 1 starter? Especially when we grabbed 3 of them at the position
dfosterf (1-May) : Not going to be shocked if Gilmore goes to the Lions.
dfosterf (1-May) : I hear you dhazer, but my guess would be Gilmore Colts and Howard Vikings from what little has been reported.
Mucky Tundra (30-Apr) : S learn from McKinney who learns from Hafley who learns from the fans. Guaranteed Super Bowl
Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : could*
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Safeties should learn from Xavier.
dhazer (29-Apr) : And what about grabbing a Gilmore or Howard at CB ? Those are all Free Agents left
dhazer (29-Apr) : out of curiosity do they try and sign Simmons or Hyde to let these young safeties learn from, they can't be day 1 starters.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : I miss having Sam Shields.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Not that he's making excuses, just pointing it out
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : That's for dang sure. Make our erratic kicker have no excuse!
packerfanoutwest (28-Apr) : having a great long snapper is gold
