Do you want someone like this on your team? If it wasn't bad enough the incident happened, he lied about it. You can't trust someone who lies.

You can read about the incident, watch the incident and the body cam.

What do you think? Do you think Kareem Hunt deserves a chance in Green Bay?

I think there's a second side of the story. Why hasn't the victim come forward or answered the NFL when they have approached her. Why haven't the Cleveland police done nothing. Lying is another thing but I guess his young and thought it was his best bet. People make mistakes and learn from it.

With his skill set I'd claim him right away!

Can he get to the QB? lol

I haven't seen the video, but it doesn't sound like a Ray Rice type situation. From what I heard, the person swung at him first. Dunno. Do due diligence. RB isn't a major position of need. (Not to jinx us, of course.)

He's certainly not innocent, but at the same point, this story is now being over blown... physically he shoved her twice and appears to barely kick her (looks more like a shove with a leg and not a strike).

Physically the worst part is the bull rush, which was against males and bowled over multiple people, injuring them... but no one is talking about that... why? Physically it's BY FAR the worst part on video by him and it's being ignored! Why?

This seems to be more about making headlines and selling stories about the "innocent" female victim than it is about Hunt's violence.

Why are you saying he lied? The Chiefs comments on releasing him? That video? Or another video? So far, I haven't seen anything that showed he has lied (this is assuming he could of fallen asleep before the cops got there, as I don't know how long g after they were called and took to interview him, also he seemed to be drunk and therefore could have fallen to sleep quickly)
========================================

Also if the woman's story is true (which let's assume it is for a second), there should be more video of them being outside and Hunt's GF going to them (and maybe attacking them) and then the Hotel receptionist refusing to let them call 911...

So either
1) the Hotel doesn't have cameras set up there,
2) someone (police or hotel management) is doing a cover up
3) Her story has holes in it, which is why the police were unsure.

But if it's true then I'm most pissed off at the hotel receptionist and they should be fired immediately, for not letting a potential victim from calling 911.

Then Hunt for the kick because that's just stupid, and he seemed to almost realize that and didn't follow through.

Well and Hunt for putting himself in that position.

Claim him.

If we don't really want him, then we can trade him.

My point is that you make a very reasonable, but also factually incorrect statement that was not "not truthful", which is the same thing the Chiefs accused Hunt of... you were "not truthful".... but you also didn't lie.

That's not what we would normally think of, but remember, these statements are being written by PR professionals and lawyers who might think of that to help their team save face.

Also as we know, NFL statements aren't always truthful either, such as the Colts suggest Andrew Luck was ready to start week 1 in 2017, depite him missing the entire season.

My point is that until they get a bit more specific this statement basically says nothing other than Chiefs aren't to blame and Hunt is...

It implies that Hunt lied, while legally all it says is that Hunt wasn't as blunt about it as the video, which people (even very good person) rarely are as we're all biased towards ourselves.

This statement is nothing more than a PR cop out

As part of our internal discussions with Kareem, several members of our management team spoke directly to him. Kareem was not truthful in those discussions. The video released today confirms that fact. We are releasing Kareem immediately."

Though I need to revise something from earlier, as maybe it's not a cover up but police not doing as much as they should (or maybe being completely overwhelmed) but the police never saw the security film until after TMZ released...

That just poor form by the Cops. You got the time the place and the man power already there... having all that might making looking at the security film up quick and make writing the report a lot easier.

Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.

Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
