Eric Reid might be a nice SS option... though there also a number of SS available. Tyvon Branch, Steven Terrell, Eric Reid, Tre Boston and Eddie Pleasant... teams just seem to be generally not interested in SS right now.

For ILB there is Mychal Kendricks and NaVorro Bowman available.

PFF said he was the best run blocking TE in the league last year "and it wasn't even close." Definitely nice to have when Jimmy Graham is your other TE.

I assume this means that someone is getting dropped from the 90-man roster, since the addition of Lewis brings the total number of tight ends Green Bay has signed to seven, with an average age of just under 27 years. Between Kendricks, Graham, and Lewis -- the three most likely to make the final roster, in my opinion -- the average age is almost 32. So these definitely strike me as "win-now" signings meant to improve Green Bay's red-zone dominance, which has flagged in recent years. Given that Rodgers used to be the best red-zone quarterback in the league by a wide margin, it's nice to see the team giving him some more assets. Sending Graham (6'7''), Lewis (6'6''), St. Brown (6'5''), Moore (6'3''), and Clark (6'6'') into the end zone all at once should provide some match-up nightmares for opposing defensive backs.

Come to think of it, Green Bay might well be going into this season with the tallest receiving corps in the league.

Not to mention, anything this team can do to improve its run blocking can only be seen as a positive.

If he can do this with Blake Bortles tossing the rock, what can he do with Aaron Rodgers on the back-shoulder fade?

I'm watching those highlights thinking, how is it this dude is like 50 years old and I haven't barely heard about him? He looks athletic as heck and powerful. This might be a great addition to the Packers, except he's going to have to learn to catch the ball while running instead of having to stop face QB and catch it.

Some will argue, he doesn't put up yardage because the Jags OL has sucked so much that he has had to help them out so often (which has some truth to it), but he's also had his problems with catching the ball... and it just seems the Jags haven't thrown the ball towards their TE much... it's always the back-up options.

Lewis has made his living blocking, and fake blocking before going out on a route... and guys forgetting about him, then he gets a favorable match-up and he's open. Rodgers will certainly know when to look at him as a favorable match-up quicker now.

Also did TE just go from a weakness to a strength? And Graham/Kendricks might be able to help out at WR sometimes... if WR needs help.
