Jordy can't run before and Cobb is no longer explosive like he once was. Cobb makes his living on those Aaron Rodgers "sandlot" plays. We don't need that right now.

Fact is, Ty is a great route runner, can line up outside and has proven that he can get deep. It wouldn't shock me if Davante and Ty were #1 and 2 next year.

This makes no F'N sense... a decent player, whose on their cheap rookie contract and has almost no hype, nor trade value, and you want to get rid of them? At minimum, Montgomery can be a decent back and return man, and back-up at both RB and WR.

I would agree with keeping Monty around and letting Cobb go in the offseason assuming Cobb doesn't make a deal to become extremely cap friendly. I do think Monty was the negative beneficiary of the Oline being in flux. they were not opening up shit for running lanes early. The biggest difference in the run game is that with Jones they are running inside power plays not the stretch crap that this team hasn't been able to block for years.

Not only does Cobb need to do something with his contact so does Rodgers, Jordy and Matthews.

Why would another NFL team wanted a WR masquerading as a RB?

Especially when Montgomery has trouble picking up blitzers and is neither fast nor quick and thus is not an ideal 3rd down back?

Montgomery is greatly over valued by some Packer fans.

He is JAG and always will be.
