DID:
James Jones. Had one bad route, we assume to be on him and not Aaron and had one drop on third down. But overall played very well and came up big in almost all clutch situations.

Eddie Lacy. Probably pulled his head out of his ass more than anyone. 100 yards, baby!

Davante Adams. Solid game. He's been getting open, but had some drops last week.

Datone Jones. The pass rush was active today and looked great. TWO sacks!

Shields: Great open field tackle. Held up.

Defense: Held AP to not much. Also got a ton of sacks. Teddy seems to break down under pressure. He gets hurt pretty easily.

Richard Rodgers. Didn't do a ton, but had a beautiful long TD that was called back on a penalty.

Oline. The Ts are suspect and broke down at times, especially Bakhtiari. They also lost Linsley. But I felt like they held up pretty well overall and got lacy over 100 yards on the day.

Clements. Almost looked as if they were (successfully) scheming guys open at times.

Crosby. None of this "the ball was in a divet" bullshit. Just hit on every kick. (not to jinx him of course.)

DID NOT:
Cobb. Still inexplicably dropping passes.

Aaron. Still is not right. Whatever it is, he's gonna need to pull it together.

Good to get back on board with a W. Was much needed after an ugly three game stretch. Chicago is a very winnable game at this point and no way should the team lay an egg on Favre's number retirement night.

Is this team capable of going 5-1 down the stretch? If the defense plays like it did today, then yeah. 12-4 is doable. HFA is pretty much conceded to Carolina at this stage unless they completely fall off a cliff the last six weeks. The important this is beating Arizona and getting the head to head tire breaker for the bye and the two seed. The Vikings game come W17 could very well be like last year. Winner gets the bye and the loser goes on the road as a wild card.

Pretty much how I saw it too. This game had it's share of cringe-worthy moments, but enough amazing plays to overcome the bad. If Cobb can get his hands back, I think we are back in business.

I am a little surprised that Masthay wasn't mentioned. He had that partially blocked kick, but had some decent ones - especially in the 4th when it was most crucial. Maybe he is on his way to "pulling his head out."

dfosterf (1-May) : Not going to be shocked if Gilmore goes to the Lions.
dfosterf (1-May) : I hear you dhazer, but my guess would be Gilmore Colts and Howard Vikings from what little has been reported.
Mucky Tundra (30-Apr) : S learn from McKinney who learns from Hafley who learns from the fans. Guaranteed Super Bowl

dfosterf (28-Apr) : I personally interpret that as a partial tear that can be recovered from with rehab
dfosterf (28-Apr) : MLF said Kingsley Enagbare did NOT tear his ACL and did NOT require surgery, and that he is "looking good" for the 2024 season!
beast (28-Apr) : T.O. son signs with the 49ers
Mucky Tundra (28-Apr) : damn those vikings

beast (27-Apr) : OL – Donovan Jennings, USF OT – Trente Jones, Michigan
TheKanataThrilla (27-Apr) : Interesting draft. A bit shocked that we didn't select an early CB. Definitely have Safety help. Pretty happy overall.

TheKanataThrilla (27-Apr) : I think he ended up with a terrible RAS score
dhazer (27-Apr) : Anyone know what went on with Kitchens from Florida? At 1 point he was to be the Packers 1st round and he is way down the board now
