I am not one to normally pull for Chicago, but I will make an exception for Seattle. After all their gloating the past seasons, and now their whining - they deserve to get their asses handed to them. I hope PC has a heart attack and dies, and Wilson gets paralyzed this year. They deserve any bad karma that heads their way.

Yeah you just reminded me of another one... I forgot the play, but Starks was clearly stopped (and I think he was down on a knee leaning forward) but the refs didn't blow the play dead and so the Seahawks kept trying to push him backwards which was starting to bend him backwards... I was worried Starks legs where going to become a twisted mess and he'd be injured... I think Lang (or one of the OL) started charging over and finally they blew the play dead but it was a while after Starks was already down.

I know the refs need to make sure the play is over before blowing it dead... but when a player is about to get hit more or bent backward after the play is clearly over by normal actions, they need to blow the play dead.

Pete Carroll just needs to be concerned about learning to chew with his mouth closed like a god damned adult. It's obnoxious seeing that guy on the sideline chewing like a 4 year old child. Now it looks like he bitches like one too.

Not sure what they're complaining about. These fumble scrums that have one team getting the ball but the other team emerges from the pile with it happen happen all the time. And it's obvious what happens everytime: the refs sees the team recover, they make it known, the other team in desperation strips the ball out in the piles (always a nightmare) and act slighted.

I'd say Carroll is correct, except that he is a big fat L-I-A-R...

There's a scrum of guys and 4 refs on the scrum, the Referee emerges from the back of the scrum and signals Packer's ball.

Surely, just before the Referee left the pile a determination was made and it was announced to all the players. It's only at this point the referee gets off the scrum to make the signal for the crowd. When the Referee left the scrum, the determination was made and the ball was still at the bottom of the scrum. Britt came away w/ the ball only because a Packer let it go after the determination was made.

If Carroll was Pinocchio, he'd also make a bad motivational speaker!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of great comments here! I will say this, though...

I couldn't get a clear view of it, and my opinion is obviously biased, so I assume it was the correct call.

Even it it wasn't, though, Pete Carroll is the LAST coach on the planet to be whining about losing on a questionable call.

Dont care the seabirds player coming up with it after the call. Moot point.

I love watching Carroll whine and go bonkers on the sidelines because that means they got caught and/or something bad for them and/or something good for the other team. Karma for cheaters and coaches who teach cheating, they've already stated that the refs can't/ won't call all the pass interference, but they should. After it cost them enough games they'll stop. It's really frustrating to see cheater rewarded.
