That's why they call it a scoop RaiderPride. When the announcement becomes public, just remember where you heard it first. Urban Sports Talk & Entertainment has been around since '07. It covers sports & entertainment with a somewhat different spin.

Everyone has sources in this game.

Interesting... I will check this site out.

Do you work for them? Know some one who does? Own the site?

Thanks,

I hope this report is true. Odd that it's the only place we're hearing this though.

Yeah I doubt he will be our LB coach.

He may come into camp and help coach em' up some, but I doubt he'll be given a job for the whole season.

You don't have to believe it now go.pack.go.

Just remember that I told you about D. Perry being named DB coach before it became public. I stand by my information 100%.

All I know is that there is an interest in Kevin Greene... I didn't say it was going to happen. As far as Winston Moss... keep in mind, he was interviewing for other coaching jobs correct? He's back in the fold as LB coach/Assistant HC.

All I can say is that I won't be heartbroken if Moss didn't coach the backers again.. I think I have beaten that horse blind, but less than impressed with the job he has done and the growth and individual play of the core backers.

Oh and if Perry is on board, I like that addition very much... someone that could eventually take the reins over if it is successful.

Something I posted as Sanders was fired.. I enjoyed watching that guy play.. maxed his potential with smart play.

Want an interesting name to throw into the ring.. Darren Perry.. Dbacks coach in Oakland.

Learned 3-4 under LeBeau in Pittsburgh and 4-3 under Rob Ryan in Oakland. Both very successful coaches on the defensive side of the ball.. Perry himself.. you might remember him as the heady safety on the mid 90's Steeler's defenses that wasn't as physically talented as he played.. right along side of Rod Woodson.

A guy that has learned under both styles that could very well adapt a scheme that could take advantage of the players strengths upon the club.

The world has went to hell apparently.. a former Viking as a possible Packer coach.

Seriously, another quality smart player, he battled injuries a ton in his playing days, but dude could play the game. I would enjoy that hire.. minus the purple. ;)

Also, former Oakland Raiders defensive line coach Keith Millard is scheduled to interview with McCarthy, according to a report on Insidebayarea.com. Millard, 46, had a nine-year career in the NFL as a defensive lineman that included seven years with the Minnesota Vikings and part of the 1992 season with the Packers. He was a defensive line coach for Oakland the past four years and apparently is not returning to the Raiders, who still dont have a head coach.

Rushing, 36, spent the last six years as a defensive backs coach with Utah State and also has coached the teams punt returners. Among the players he coached at Utah State was Packers backup cornerback Jarrett Bush.
