Hmm, I think Bart Starr would qualify for best pick in history. 5 championships, 3 Super Bowls, insane post-season record (8-1), picked number #200 overall (17th round!). I think you could make a solid argument for Starr being one of the best picks in history by any team, though Tom Brady probably lands first on that list.

Rodgers is one of the Packer's historically best picks though, can't argue with that.

We're fortunate to have had both.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Starr had some very good years INT wise but he also had years of 10,12,16,10,17 and that was with a max of 14 games played.

I'm old enough to remember Bart Starr very well, and he was great in a lot of ways. If you take into consideration where in the draft he was picked, he stands out even more. However, there is absolutely no question here, the indisputable greatest Packer ever drafted has to be Aaron Rodgers.

Bart Starr was terrific, but he also had a ridiculous supporting cast. A team that you couldn't even get together in this day and age, because of all the parity rules and professionalisation of scouting.

And come on, putting Cecil second and Favre, who wasn't actually drafted by the Packers fourth, must be some next level trolling, Nerd.
