Finally, someone that fills the Nick Collins void.

With the twenty-first pick in this year’s NFL Draft the Green Bay Packers selected safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. Many fans were excited to get a player from the pedigree of Alabama’s Nick Saban. Dix had an up and down season-opener as many rookies experience playing under the prime time lights for the first time as a

As good as he seems to be, he's a different kind of player from Collins - better against the run, but less opportunistic for interceptions - so far. I would say he is well on the way to filling the void, but not exactly a direct replacement.

One thing I'll take as a potential good sign is he isn't really being tested much on passes. That may also be a product of a good pass rush in front of him but it at least proves we aren't dealing with a Peprah/Jennings/McMillian situation in coverage. Add to that he's been fantastic in run support. So far it looks like we've got a good one.

Probably not the easiest of positions to start as a rookie. Looked shaky against Seattle, but the kid has been solid since. I agree with those saying he packs a punch when he hits guys. Happy he fell to us and based on a recent tweet he is thankful to be in Packerland.

A side effect of HaHa playing better is, that Burnett has been as well. Improving one spot makes them all better.

I'm wondering with the Shields, Williams situation that we may see Micah Hyde switched back to Corner for the time being and Ha ha playing alongside Burnette full time?

He has been impressive for a rookie!!!

Only going to get better!!!!

Hyde was moved to Safety because of need, Clinton Dix was no guarantee when drafted.

I think it is becoming pretty clear HHCD is going to take over the starting position full time at some point.

Now is as good as time as ever.

That would free up Hyde to be that 3rd corner(if Shields and Williams are out for any length of time.

House and Hayward may be the starters this week, I would rather have Hyde as the 3rd corner and that would keep Bush as the 4th corner.

Burnett, HHCD, Richardson at safety.

House, Harward, Hyde, Bush and Goodson at corner.

Mucky Tundra (2h) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (3h) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (7h) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (7h) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (22h) : Bust it is then
Zero2Cool (23h) : Context. Sounds like Myers won't be cross-trained. C or bust.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : @BookOfEli_NFL Packers pass game coordinator, Jason Vrable said that Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks shared a placed in Florida while train
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : For now...
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers go about evaluating their "best five," OL coach Luke Butkus makes on thing clear: "Josh Myers is our center."
beast (8-May) : Though I'm a bit surprised letting go of CBs, I thought we needed more not less
beast (8-May) : It was confusing with two DB Anthony Johnson anyways
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers actually had Ray Lewis on the phone.
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers wanted to draft Ray Lewis. Ravens stole him.

Mucky Tundra (4-May) : @mattschneidman Matt LaFleur on how he tore his pec: “Got in a fight with the bench press. I lost.”
Zero2Cool (3-May) : Jordan Love CAN sign an extension as of today. Might tak weeks/months though

Zero2Cool (2-May) : May 3rd. Extension day for Jordan Love. (soonest)
Zero2Cool (1-May) : USFL MVP QB Alex McGough moved to WR. So that's why no WR drafted!
earthquake (1-May) : Packers draft starters at safety ever few years. Collins, Clinton-Dix, Savage
beast (1-May) : Why can't the rookies be a day 1 starter? Especially when we grabbed 3 of them at the position

Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : could*
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Safeties should learn from Xavier.
dhazer (29-Apr) : And what about grabbing a Gilmore or Howard at CB ? Those are all Free Agents left
dhazer (29-Apr) : out of curiosity do they try and sign Simmons or Hyde to let these young safeties learn from, they can't be day 1 starters.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : I miss having Sam Shields.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Not that he's making excuses, just pointing it out

dfosterf (28-Apr) : We got Peter Bowde
