I disagree.. it should not have been covered via the tuck rule, even though that rule is bullshit. lol.
Per the rule, it is only covered while the QB is tucking it back in from a passing motion.. once he has regained control normal rules apply.. if the ball comes out it is a fumble.
So it comes down to defining when the QB has re-established a normal carrying motion.. in this case Rodgers gets the ball in more of a carrying motion than trying to.
Another judgment call with too much gray in it.
I prefer it simpler.. if that arm is going forward in a passing motion, incomplete.. it it is not.. fumble.
