Packers Hall of Fame, wander thru the proshop. Definitely eat at Curly's Pub upstairs in the Atrium, that place is awesome. Theres a real nice packer apparell shop right by the stadium as well (probably better off buying him a jersey there than in the proshop). Spending a night in a hotel in Green Bay is gong to be expensive as hell, i'd recommend down the road in appleton.

Thanks! Since the airline tickets are MUCH cheaper into Appleton, that's where we're going to fly into. Staying down there would make sense, from that perspective, too. We'll aim for there!

Gotta hit Kroll's West.. get you one of the butter burgers.. lol.

Might want to hit the casino by the airport.. let the youngin' hit the slot machines.

I would definitely stay outside of Green Bay.. cheaper and more alternatives.

Earlier in the year.. the drive up to Door County is scenic... not so much in the winter.. other than to look at the small villages of ice shanty's on the lake. ;)

Thanks, PackZ!

I don't think his Mom would look favorably on the casino idea... We'd have to classify that portion of the trip SECRET NOMOM.

We will check out Titletown Brewery (if I can convince his mom it's just it's name, it's really a restaurant, not a bar...lol).

Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh! Just heard from my friend. Her husband sold the ticket's to one of HIS coworkers! AAaaaaaaaaaahhhh! We won't be making it up for the Bears game after all.

Well, it's a good thing I didn't tell my boy yet. On the plus side, my coworker feels REALLY REALLY REALLY bad about it, and I'm pretty confident they're going to give me first shot next year at any games they aren't going to be able to attend. So, I'm pretty sure we'll be able to make it next year.

but still...AAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Yeah, I was looking forward to:

with the potential to determine the division championship and/or whether we made the playoffs or not.

Sigh.

She feels REALLY bad about it. She's a good friend, and we are both pretty rabid Packers fans (I have Packers stuff all over my desk at work and wear Packers stuff (including these incredibly gaudy socks) every Fri (casual Fri) during the season), so I know it was accidental.

We don't work at the same office anymore, she was out-of-town beginning of this week and didn't get my messages until after she got back. By then her husband had already sold the tickets.

What Cheesey said the first time is perfect! Make sure to do some form of tailgating, at least walk around and see the sights because there are sure to be some memorable ones out there. I shed a small man tear and got all tingly the first time I walked into the field area from the concourse, as the view opened up it was like I had stepped into heaven... youre gonna love it!
