I still think the Packers need to stop worrying about Adrian Peterson so much. Let him have his yards. Focus on Favre. Mix up your coverages and your pass rush.

It's easy to look at any team and describe them as a failing unit relying on veterans past their time and rookie's who can't play.

The Vikings are as much a team dependant on a certain core of players as we are, we both have our problems that can be exploited, and will be.

Sounds to me like the Vikings fan is bitter because his team isn't in the news, or when they are it's because old man Favre wants more lime light.

One-sided Viqueens-babble aside, it's very true, our preseason wins are far too overrated and that does annoy me. It's meaningless praise really.

The media......always has a hard on for the pack. Look at their stats since the 2nd half of the season. Amazing. The division should be tighter than ever this year. It all comes down to injuries, it always does.

Don't know enough to really breakdown the Vikes but one of the biggest misconceptions in the NFL is that their O line is worth a @#$$. I read an article by one of their own beat writers saying McKinnie making the Pro Bowl was a joke. Favre made them look better then they were last year but my prediction is their true colors are revealed this year and our O line steps it up, and that will be the difference in us taking the division

Yes, the Vikings still have Adrian Peterson, but the Packers have proven they can beat the Vikings with Adrian Peterson. The Packers were either 2-1 or 3-1 (I can't be arsed to look up the numbers again) against the Vikings with Adrian Peterson before the advent of the Brett Favre experiment. The Packers have one of the best run defenses in the league. If the Vikings have to rely on Adrian Peterson to win, I am confident the Packers will prevail, unless Dom Capers turns into a pussy again and retreats back into the prevent defense all game long.

Look at his career trends. He is far more likely to regress after a good year than to repeat his performance two seasons in a row. If I were a betting man, there's no way I'd be putting my money on Favre to repeat this year, especially since he's already whining about his ankle. If he does repeat, great -- it will be a pleasant surprise. But I sure am not risking any money on it.

For the life of me, though, I cannot figure out why he is advertising the problems with his ankle. If he's hoping that talking up his vulnerability will prompt NFL officials to go easy on him, that might work. But I doubt it will provoke defensive coordinators to take pity on him and dial back the pressure (and if it does, shame on them and they need to be fired). Other than a few concessions from officials, I don't see what he has to gain from this tactic.

Zero2Cool (30-May) : Bears are the first team to be selected for Hard Knocks
dfosterf (29-May) : Andy Herman and his Pack a day podcast put up GB strengths yesterday. This morning he did weaknesses. They are both very good.

Mucky Tundra (22-May) : Sounds like both Kraft and Tom were injuried before OTAs began

Zero2Cool (13-May) : I know we moved on. That tidbit just makes me a touch happier.
Zero2Cool (13-May) : Sources spoke of many, many times last summer where Hackett called a play, then Rodgers changed it completely at the line
Martha Careful (10-May) : 1. this is true of all our linemen. 2. His run block is fine. 3. If all OL played like he has, we would win SB.
beast (10-May) : Meyers pass blocking is really good, his run blocking is really not.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : Packers have claimed DE Spencer Waege off of waivers from the 49ers and waived DT Rodney Mathews.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : And the OL protections seem to be good.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : I really don't know lol. I don't see him getting blown up.
Zero2Cool (9-May) : -3 buwahhhahaaha
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : 4th
Zero2Cool (9-May) : because he's 1st
Mucky Tundra (9-May) : Myers isn't even the 3rd best C on the roster atm
Martha Careful (9-May) : I am not sure I understand the Myers hate. He was consistently our third best lineman. RG and LT were worse.
beast (9-May) : Just saying I don't think moving Myers would help Myers.
beast (9-May) : Center is usually considered the easiest position physically if you can handle the snap stuff.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : Bust it is then
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Context. Sounds like Myers won't be cross-trained. C or bust.
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : @BookOfEli_NFL Packers pass game coordinator, Jason Vrable said that Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks shared a placed in Florida while train
Mucky Tundra (8-May) : For now...
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers go about evaluating their "best five," OL coach Luke Butkus makes on thing clear: "Josh Myers is our center."
beast (8-May) : Though I'm a bit surprised letting go of CBs, I thought we needed more not less
beast (8-May) : It was confusing with two DB Anthony Johnson anyways
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers actually had Ray Lewis on the phone.
Zero2Cool (8-May) : Packers wanted to draft Ray Lewis. Ravens stole him.
